This was such a sweet little spot with gorgeous views of Mt Hood, and everything you need to feel like you’re truly on a vacation. The town of Parkdale is so charming, and we enjoyed walking to all the local spots. Literally right next door to Solera brewing! And we loved Moby Coffeehouse. Living area was cozy and comfortable; kitchen was well apppointed. The washer / dryer were great to have. The two bedrooms are upstairs and open to each other (limited privacy if that is a consideration); the bathroom is downstairs. This is a great choice if looking for a place to stay near Mt. Hood. Hood / Hood River area This home is right on the main street of Parkdale, OR, and is just a few minutes off the highway that takes you from Hood River up to Mount Hood. There is a hot tub on the property (in the backyard, with a great view of Mount Hood!) but the cover to the hot tub is broken and difficult to maneuver if you are by yourself. I contacted the property manager a few times about it but no one came to fix the issue during my stay. I did not cook at the house, so I cannot say much about the kitchen, but for my needs (a place to sleep and recoup after a hike or winery day), this place worked well. ##### Tracy L.
