This beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom property is fully equipped and prepared for your Park City vacation. Located across the street from Park City Mountain Resort, this wonderful destination is well suited for all travelers’ needs, wants and expectations. When you enter this Empire House property, you will immediately feel at home. The large living room is open, well furnished & inviting each time you enter. The living room is well equipped with plush furnishings, hand selected décor & furniture, a fireplace, and large TV. The family room is a welcoming and comfortable place to relax with family and friends, after a fun & activity filled day in Park City. The main living space is outfitted with recessed lighting, giving a bright and welcoming feel to the area and enhancing all the property’s modern features and amenities. A two-person breakfast bar & table has additional seating for two (2). The living area flows right into the gourmet kitchen, which makes entertaining easy. It's nicely outfitted with brand new appliances including fridge, stove / oven, microwave, dishwasher and a plethora of other small household appliances, cookware, corning ware and flatware. The spacious kitchen has been nicely remodeled with new pine cabinetry; counter tops and modern fixtures and finishes. The kitchen island also seconds as a breakfast bar with seating for four (4). Located just off the kitchen, in the pantry, is the unit’s personal washing machine and clothes dryer. The primary bedroom is spacious in size and features a queen size bed with comfortable bedding and linens. The bedroom is also equipped with a large closet, hardwood armoire, timber design nightstands with subsequent lightings. The oversized bay windows allows for lots natural light to enter the room, keeping it bright and welcoming. The primary suite is a lavish and beautifully renovated with new cabinets, counters, lighting, finishes & features. The bathroom is fully equipped with a soaker-jetted tub, rainfall shower, pine cabinetry and extra long counter tops. The hand selected sandstone tile give a fresh and bright feel to the room, making it another great & well-maintained space in the home. The second bedroom is smaller in size and features two (2) twin beds, again with soft linens and bedding. The greatest feature of the bedroom is the en suite bath, giving Vacationers a greater degree of privacy. The guest bathroom (2), like the Primary, is opulent and smartly renovated. It features a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, pine cabinetry with new counter tops, large mirror and stainless steel fixtures and finishes. Every detail in the bathroom has been considered, giving it a wholesome feel and no sharing is necessary when staying in the second bedroom. Please note that this home does not have air conditioning, but fans are provided. If the weather is hot it will get warm in the home. Terrific location, just a walk across a parking lot and you are at Park City Mountain base. Communication with Property owners was prompt and easy via email. It is a long walk to the old town restaurants, but manageable if it isn't too cold.The property description is NOT accurate. There is no hot tub on the property, only a standard sized bathroom tub with a couple jets in it. This felt like a bait and switch and may have influenced my choice of rentals. Parking was very convenient. Carpets were dirty/old and finishes are pretty old, but about par for a ski condo. A For Sale sign showed up on the property after being there for a day, so someone in the building is selling. ##### Nick L. NO note or warning had been given that we were entering an active construction zone. We received two door codes to open the front door. Lucky for us, one worked. Upon entering a musty/moldy odor sent me straight to a window for fresh air. The window ledge and the window itself were streaked with dirt and mud from a water leak above. We were disturbed by two knocks at the front (and only) door. The first announced that the water was going to be turned off due to the construction. The second knock was a representative of the HOA who wanted to take a look at the water leak area and announced that he was perplexed. The local (?) management company iTrip offered us another accommodation which we accepted. They claimed it was an upgrade because it has a private hot tub. We packed up and moved, but found the hot tub cold and full of leaves. We cut our trip short. I requested a partial refund but was refused. The local management claimed we were not due anything because of the "upgrade" offer. The inconvenience of having to move was VERY ANNOYING. I feel outrage that iTrip gave NO WARNING that the condo building that was under construction, obviously from a sloppy crew. Seriously, a portable-potty feet from the front door! I'm a frequent VRBO customer and have never had anything remotely like this experience at any other of my many stays. ##### Jana B. Downtown garage parking included. Important! Print out parking pass before you arrive. We had to find a place to print it out or be towed away. The house unit and grounds could use a deep cleaning and new fans as there is no air conditioning in the unit and only two windows to open. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and met our needs. The condo is in an older building with some exterior renovations in process. It was very comfortable and clean. We did park our car in the covered parking lot and didn’t use it a single time until we left for the airport. It was incredibly convenient. We did have an issue in that the code we were provided for the door lock did not work. When we called the company, we always had to leave a message and wait for a text. The unit was clean and well prepared and a few minutes walk across the street to the lifts, shops and ski school. Communication was excellent. The only suggestion is more detail with accessing the garage. Perhaps I missed the infomation but the garage must be accessed from 14th St coming from behind the unit and not from Empire. Ski n See rentals stores the skis and poles each day for free, so you just put on your ski boots and walk across the parking lot! Easy Peasy! Bus stops at the slope, too, if needed. Our stay at the Empire house was perfect. We walked just across the street to the mountain every day, walked to Fresh Market when items were needed and even walked to main street. When we didn't feel like walking, the bus service was so convenient to get to, just steps away from the from door. The view of the mountain from the from door was what we looked forward to each day. The beds were comfortable, the living room was the perfect size for the 4 of us and the TV's in the living room and bedrooms worked well for us. The management company was extremely easy to work with and super responsive. We will definitely look to come back to this condo again! ##### Deirdre D. The fact that the tv programming guide did not work, their was no Kleenex available, no waste basket in the ensuite bathroom, only 2 small bars for soap for 3 people and no option to recycle cans and bottles also distracted from the units desirability. The unit is directly across the parking lot from the base of Park City, but it is still quite a walk carrying skis & boots. Suggest utilizing the services of the ski valet check ($10/d) & the basket check for boots, helmet etc($16/d) at the base of the Payday lift. ##### Ron F. The outside of the building is under renovation and covered in Tyvek - not as cute as the current photos. We also had no hot water for at least 24 hours, and the heat was also not reliable so we requested relocation. The new unit we moved to was closer to town, which we didn’t love (had friends staying a block away from Empire, and relocating luggage and groceries was a major inconvenience), but the new space was nicer and had a hot tub. Overall we had a great trip, and the iTrip hosts were excellent and very responsive by text. A live call and a credit to help with relocation expenses might have been nice given everything we experienced. ##### Amy M. The new property had a much better location, and was definitely an upgrade - which we very much appreciated. There were a few hiccups with the new property but the property manager quickly resolved - again much appreciated.
