Paris' historic city centre is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the french capital. Between the local shops and the numerous restaurants you will appreciate the charm and the dynamism of this district. In the evening, you will have just as many places to enjoy it fully. Many monuments and tourist sites are quickly accessible by public transport. Getting Around: \- Close to 4 metro stations: Couronnes (150m), Belleville (400m), Ménilmontant (450m) and Partmentier (650m). The geographical location of the apartment will allow you to get around the capital very easily via the many public transport possibilities: \- Subway: Ménilmontant (line 2), located 6 minutes walk away. \- Subway: Belleville (line 1,12,8), located 5 minutes by foot \- BUS (day and night) \- Velib Station \- Several taxi companies available: G7 Taxis (the most used) - call 36 07. Other Things to Note: \*\*\* TOURIST TAX & HOME ADDRESS \*\*\* \- The Paris administration charges a small fee to every guest staying in a tourism accommodation. The introduction of a tourist tax makes it possible to avoid having to bear the costs linked to tourist activity in the area solely on the local taxpayer. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost. 5\. No smoking on interior areas. 6\. If the garbage bin is full, please take it outside and find the closest dumpster. 7\. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. 8\. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition. Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.
