The hotel was close to the bus and metro, making it super easy to get around Paris. We bought a 5-day metro pass and used it the entire trip. The room was perfect for my husband, our grown daughter, and me — cozy, comfortable, and just what we needed. The staff were so friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. When we arrived the floors were not just dirty but turned our socks black black. One towel and pillow case were used. They cleaned next afternoon, said they’d refund 2 of the daily 10 euro cleaning fee. But at check out I spent 10 minutes arguing with the staff on one of the day’s cleaning fee. Astounded they would argue over 10 euros and how many hours we had to sit in filth. I wasn’t even asking to be reimbursed for the night rate or our ruined socks.
