Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. Balcony for our room, plus plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy the sunset. They also have a pair of nesting toucans, so we enjoyed seeing them every morning and evening. They have a walking trail with hanging bridges that is pretty nice and a free morning tour (book early). The bus stop was a short walk away, so we didn't drive anywhere when we were at Manuel Antonio. There is also a good soda and small convenience store at the bottom of the hill."
