Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in—hands down

"We’ve stayed in some pretty exceptional VRBO properties, so I don’t say this lightly—this one takes the cake. It’s really more like a full house than a beach house rental, but it has everything you’d want for both. It’s a short jaunt to a very beautiful and sparsely visited beach. It almost felt like a private beach. And if you don’t even want to expend THAT much energy, you can enjoy the spectacular views from the deck in the deck lounge chairs, or from the living, dining, or family rooms upstairs. We had seven people staying in the house, two of them under the age of 8, and it never felt crowded. I have never, EVER, seen such a well-stocked kitchen in a beach house. They didn’t just have cookware, they had high quality cookware. Not to mention a huge refrigerator and freezer, an ice machine, electric coffee grinders, an espresso machine, and an ice cream maker. Not to mention, they have multiple outdoor grills (a big green egg and a Weber—we used both). Finally, the host went ABOVE AND BEYOND to give us information about not just their home, but where to go eat and have fun. As soon as we arrived, they were there to show us around, and they gave us info about where to go, the best restaurants, and so many things to do in the area. I wish we had booked three more weeks there! Five stars for this place and its owners, and two thumbs way up!"

Clean, comfortable, functional

"Great location 1 block from the public beach access path. This unit is part of a 4-plex and everything was clean with plenty of shower towels, however only 2 beach towels, a bag of beach toys and 2 small boogie boards that didn't have leashes. The neighborhood was quiet, people were friendly, peaceful and relaxing vibe. Parking for one car in the driveway, no garage access, more parking on street. 2 full bathrooms on second floor and a half bath on first floor. Open space between downstairs living area and 2 of the 3 bedrooms on second floor and loft bedroom, so sound travels easily throughout and. Beds were medium soft/firm. Plenty of kitchenware. Some outdated features, could use some paint touch-ups throughout for better esthetics, but everything was functional and comfortable. Within 10 minutes of grocery store, gas, restaurants. We would stay here again."

The ultimate staycation

"I live in the neighborhood but not on the sand. I rented this home because I had friends and family coming into town for a funeral service and I needed a place for them to stay and for me to rest and relax the night before and after the funeral. I loved it so much I am thinking about renting it out again for my upcoming 50th birthday. The view of the beach and water are amazing. Sunsets as always are amazing on this west facing beach, but there is something to be said about waking up right on the beach and watching dolphins in the ocean and horses being ridden on the sand. It was awesome. Neighbors were very friendly too."
