![Fern Canyon is in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park in Humboldt County, California. The trail through the canyon is a short, easy walk with several stream crossings. During peak season, boards are conveniently placed across the stream.

Ferns found here include California polypody, deer fern, licorice fern, and western sword fern.
