"Okay walking distance from the train station, but check-in was terrible. I didn’t receive any details until standing outside on a rainy day trying to figure out how to call a local phone number, which was eventually answered by someone who only speaks Chinese. After an awkward minute on the phone they hung up, but a few minutes later I finally got instructions on how to get inside.
The staircase inside is very tight and carrying suitcases up is quite difficult. Once inside, the room is clean...
"Cute and cosy! Really convenient little place to stay with a lovely comfortable room. The views were great and location just a stone throw from the main areas. Seemed like one of the best places to stay in the area. The room is spacious and quiet - we really enjoyed the bathtub with a view of the mountains and the little balcony offers amazing views too. "

The suburb does not have many tourists, there lives locals, the streets behind the hotel are residential areas and have great breakfast shops, convenient stores, etc, a great experience to see some local lifes. The staff were consistently warm and helpful — from the front desk and concierge to the transportation team, restaurant servers, cleaning staff, and luggage attendants. Everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
What impressed us most was how comprehensive the services were. The hotel helped us arrange taxis, airport shuttles, and even a private driver for a day trip outside of Taipei, which was the highlight of our stay. They also offer on-site currency exchange, which was very convenient.
