I requested 2 bedrooms and bunk beds. We were booked into a 1 bedroom and a 1/2 bed in the hall with a trundal bed that had to be pulled out blocking the hall when in use. The elavators were terrible. The room was pretty warm. We called the front desk and the maint. came and rebooted the AC. He said that would work. It did not. One of the reason was that the hanging vertical blinds had some missing (about 1/4 of them) blinds and you could not sleep late or block the sun. The maint. never came and replaced them. There was fecal matter on the master toilet lid and seat. Love this resort. It is located near all shops and restaurants & near by Pier Park. Right on the beach and resort itself has many amenities. This was our second stay and we are truly looking forward to our next visit. If you have kids or not - this resort is wonderful place because it is quiet and it is great for families. This did not make any sense since i arrived at 4:30pm and there was round the clock attendants at the condo i stayed at. Even so i was ok with this, However, when i got to the room i was disappointed. First, it was much smaller than what i normally get with the same type of condo. It was not the cleaniest. The master bath was smaller than the second bath and there was areas where old hair,lent, and razors had never been cleaned. The beds seemed to be ok and they were comfortable. The cable in the living area did not work. I tried to get someone to repair it and they seemed uninterested and said they would "try" to have someone call me. I never got a call the five days i was there. So I,finally, on the second day worked on it myself and got it to work. The pools and common areas seemed clean and well cared for. I didnt realize when i booked, that they were having Thunder Beach Motorcycle week. So it made it tough to sleep. After being there a few days i got used to the room so it wasn' as bad. It was safe and we really enjoyed the beach and the amenities. But i think the price is to high for the quality of the room i had. I come to the beach at least three times a year and stay and various hotels.
