This year, they have implemented a new system that requires an access code so that you can fully utilize the community. This means that unless you pay for the extra code, you can’t access 3 of the 4 pools, and you can not access the beach AT ALL. There is no mention of this extra charge in the listing, but the listing does mention the things that you will not be using.Also, just as a heads up, the listing does mention that there are laundry facilities, but fails to mention that it is 2.50 per wash or dry. I knew this because I have been before, but it is also good for those new to Carillon to know.We were super excited to see an Aldi has opened up across the street where the Winn Dixie was, so that was definitely a plus. All in all, everything was as expected. I did not pay the extra fee, so I feel a little duped on this particular listing. If you don’t mind the extra fee, definitely book, as this is the absolute best community in PCB. ##### Marty K.
