It was one of the cleanest rentals we’ve experienced, very well-appointed, and the private walkway to the beach was incredible. The home itself was beautiful and had everything we needed.That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. Some unused rooms had handprints on the walls and the stairs could use a touch-up. The required “walk-through” at check-in felt unnecessary and took 30 minutes to show us two things that could have been in a guide or video. We also weren’t told pool heat was 85/day, leading to delays and a service call where the pool still never heated properly.Another concern was an unannounced pool service visit, which was uncomfortable during family pool time. Most concerning were the (5) numerous security cameras, including one pointed directly at the pool. Without clear data policies, this felt intrusive and would make us hesitate to return.The property is in a prime spot near attractions, which means it’s lively and noisy at night, and we often cleaned balloons and glass from the driveway. Perfect for a multigenerational family vacation. There are two king-size rooms with ocean views and the other rooms have good space and a variety of bed layouts. comfy beds and linens. Nice that all of the rooms have their own bathrooms.Large kitchen and living space accommodated all of us for gathering and watching movies. Easy drive from the airport and very responsive host. Direct access to a beautiful beach, and the house is within walking distance of Pier Park with shops, restaurants, an arcade and Ferris wheel. Everyone had their own private bathroom. Nugget ice maker was a huge hit! House was stocked with pool toys, floats, beach chairs and beach towels. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Balcony furniture was comfortable and relaxing. The only issues that I can say was when We arrived I did have to go through the house talking pictures of stained furniture, markings on the walls, spilled drinks that were left, and the pool had used band-aids in it. As soon as I addressed this issue they did offer someone to come in and deep clean, but at this point we did not want to have to pack up and leave for that long period of a time. I do think this was lack of the cleaning crew NOT on the owner. You can tell whoever stayed before us had zero respect for the property. Overall I will def stay here again. ##### Taylor G.
