There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. It was just us two at the condo. It was very convenient to the beach and all of the nearby restaurants and shopping. A few issues when we first arrived, however a very quick response impressive. at the end of the week didn't want to leave.
