There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. However, our host never gave us the door lock code. We called the number with no answer. We traveled two days from Michigan just to sit at the door with no door code issued to us after check-in time. Luckily there was a nice women in the HOA office that took care of us and assigned a door code for us. So I would probably book again. ##### Jim L.
