There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. It took over an hour. First I did not have a reservation, yet I had the printed confirmation,, then I was forced to redo the multipage form for the condo, while I had a printed copy in my hand, then I produced my credit card statement where I had paid and then then they found my reservation and then they would not accept the vaccination tag on the dog so I had to get a paper signed by a vet . When I returned with the paper they did not even look at it but gave us the tag for his leash.The furniture in the condo was totally worn out. I can find better at goodwill.
