There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. It was clean, and well prepared for our visit. Better communication would have made this an excellent stay.Better communication for check in, I was informed that we would be texted a code to get into our unit by 5pm day of check in. I ended up needing to call after 5pm to see if we can check in, only to be told the unit was ready at 1230 that day.Also communication about maintenance for the unit. I understand that people may need to come inside for repairs/maintenance but I feel there be communication ahead of time letting us know that. On Monday March 31 someone came to the door from Edgewater asking us if our water heater was working properly after telling him I just got out of the shower and had no problems with hot water he asked again and left. Shortly later that day someone from edgewater came back again and asked if the AC was working properly and asked to come in to look at it. After looking at it he said everything seems to be good and left. On Tuesday the 1st a repair company knocked on the door and again asked to look at the AC system. The event we were attending was on property so the location was perfect. Lots to do for the kids ages 7-12 to do on property and off. Property was clean. Could have done without all the plastic covering everything from the mattresses to the table. New appliances were really nice. Hot water heater was not working but management got it going when asked. One shower curtain was held up with duct tape :(. No beach towels and limited bath towels made going to the beach and then showering a challenge. Overall - nice place but outdated. ##### Michelle F.
