We had a few glitches at first but if you call maintenance they get right on it. They even came out on Sunday. I noticed some people had said the dryer didn’t work. And it didn’t. I washed clothes to discover it. Called maintenance and they came out and they had to replace the whole thing. It took a few days. The stick sweeper didn’t work well but if you clean the filter with soapy water after it works just fine. Very roomy. Beautiful view. Skybar staff was amazing and had things almost every evening. Reviewer Comments: ReviewThis room was picked for us due to an issue with the owner of the original room cancelling 24hrs prior to arrival. We were “upgraded” to a bigger room with many issues. The first bedroom did not have a toilet seat, the king bedroom had dirty sheets, the balcony door did not lock(safety issue with toddlers), an outlet in the living room did not have a cover(another safety issue with toddlers), the fan in living room did not work, and the floors were so dirty they turned our feet black the first night. None of the gate codes provided worked. Luckily security let us in each time. We were asked if we’d like to stay an additional night and the only reason we agreed was to have one more beach day. Cleaning company also walked into our room without notice prior to our departure. We love Emerald Beach and have come back once a year for eight years, but we will not stay in this room again. ##### Shelby T. We had pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen. Washer and dryer are on the smaller side but they worked well for us if we didnt overload it. I would have really liked there to be something child proofing the entrance door like a sliding lock or maybe alarm that the 2&3 year old couldn't just open the door, but it was honestly not an issue I was just nervous about that. I stayed in the king room with the bunk bed with my husband and 4 kids (2, 3, 6, and 10) we were all very happy. My dad stayed in the other king and my sister in the twin room. 1st year we didnt know the door opened in the room to ocean front. We love that Starbucks is on site. We originally chose this place for the zero entry pool for the kids. My daughter learned to swim in the pool there. The hot tub was amazing. Love that there is another pool (back up incase one is down) but accessing the pool from the beach is nice. Drinks at the tiki bar were perfect. Runaway island next door is to die for at sunset. Elevators were a little confusing. Park across the road, go to floor 3 then across the skybar walkway to the other elevators, then go to the lobby floor, then around to the other elevators to the 24th floor. The vacuum was a little clogged when I tried to use it but was happy there was one there with a bunch of kiddos. Not a ton of decor I had to stress over my kids breaking. Had the best time. We love the location and the size of the condo accommodates our family well. However, as a whole, it is looking very shabby and rundown. There are MANY things that need attention. In the MB that overlooks the ocean, the AC was not adequate. We had to run a box fan the entire stay and it still wasn’t real cool. The furniture in the living room is in very poor shape. The toilets kept stopping up. The kitchen mitts to get stuff out of the oven were gross. As I said, just several things needed attention. Now for the building in general… there were 2 elevators out of order our entire stay. We were on the 24 floor. The day we checked in it took 1 hour standing in line to get an elevator. And it was hard all week. That was a huge issue. Then, the escalators weren’t working either. There was an awful smell in the open areas around the elevators especially on the lobby level. I don’t typically give reviews. But I paid almost $4000 to stay here and I feel like they could update it at least a little if they’re getting this kind of money all season. It hasn’t changed at all in the times we’ve rented it. We will come to PCB again, but will not stay here unless some real changes are made. ##### Gaye Chance L. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 24th floor. Great view of the beach. Parking is a hassle but not that big deal. Great accommodations bar, ice cream parlor, gas grills for outside cooking. Wish there was an indoor pool for those times needed. Room needs a little TLC and updating. It looked a little bare on the decorating area. Kitchen had just enough for you to get by. Floor could need a deep cleaning. Oh yeah the elevators for amazingly fast. Furnishings are a bit of a dated mismatch of things. But I understand this. If you had all new furniture, cabinets and etc it would not stay perfect with multiple guests/renters. Appliances were nice and kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer were clean and pretty new.Multiple pools, tiki bars, and access to the beach. Store, food and Starbucks on site. The location is great. Lots of options for food within walking distance. The kitchen was not stocked well with pot and pans and upon arrival many dishes and skillets were put away but not very clean. The master shower has mold around the ceiling. The living room furniture and balcony furniture was very run down. Overall we had a great time just spent time washing dishes a lot. The dishwasher was ran 3 times and dishes were still not clean. I was very disappointed the sliding door in the master bedroom would not open and it was not a balcony just full view windows.
