This was our first time going to Panama City Beach, Florida. The sand was white as snow and finer than salt. I felt like I was walking on a pillow. The water rivaled the Caribbean in color. Panama City is situated on the Panhandle so that you are able to see the sunset over the water. Long Beach Resort Condominiums are close walking distance to the action by PIneapple Willys separated by only one other condominium complex.The layout of this unit is fabulous - both bedrooms as well as the living/dining/kitchen area have floor to ceiling windows/doors overlooking the gulf. We only used the king and the queen bed nearest the windows. Both beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with lovely dinnerware and cookware. There is a Mr. Coffee and a Keurig in the unit. A few things we really appreciated were having two rolls of toilet paper and hand soap in each bathroom, kitchen dish soap and dishwasher soap, salt and pepper. Because of ongoing remediation needed because of hurricane damage, our balcony was closed and only one pool was available for use at the time we visited However, each unit has the use of two beach lounge chairs and an umbrella from 9-5 each day. We spent most of our time sitting on the beach. However, the lagoon pool looks fabulous. I hope remediation is completed by now and it is again available. We had one lunch at the Hangout. Grouper bitesThe host was very responsive and easy to work with.
