We have tried to think of everything to accommodate a few adults up to an extended family or large group of friends. Whether hanging by the pool, taking a walk/bike along the shores of Emerson Point, golfing, heading for the beach, or fishing, your Snead Island Getaway home is well located. Additional features/amenities: Huge front yard Large, fenced back yard Large heated pool that lights up at night WiFi Well furnished kitchen X-Box Board games. 2 master suites w/ tv's 64 Channel Sling TV and Netflix Cornhole Bocce Ball Kayaks and life vests for kids/teens/adults 6 bikes and helmets of assorted sizes Ping pong table Swimming pool toys Firepit Foosball table Basketball hoop Pool Table Wine fridge Downstairs wet-bar and fridge Downstairs washer/dryer for your swim clothes and towels Pizza oven Computer and printer/scanner Huge lanai overlooking the pool and the water. Child gates for stairs Toddler bed/crib. You can fish right from the dock, take your boat, or borrow our kayaks for a short paddle into Terra Ceia Bay. Sea trout, snook, redfish, drum, ladyfish, sheepshead, saltwater catfish are abundant. We have fishing poles and basic tackle for you to use if you don't bring yours. The bait shop is 5 blocks away! Looking for the beach? If you bring your boat you can take it to Anna Maria island faster that you can drive a car... about 5 miles across Terra Ceia Bay. Otherwise take the car... its only 6-7 miles, but takes about 20-25 minutes. OR... right on the tip of Snead island (Emerson Point Preserve)... a 15 minute walk, or a 2 minute drive, is a small beach right where the Manatee river, Terra Ceia Bay and Tampa Bay meet. There are no crashing waves like the nearby beaches, but the water is clear, the sand white, and its a perfect place to take the really little kids where you can keep an eye on them while they play in the water. Bathrooms are there and places for a picnic. If you want a boat for fishing, cruising, going to the beach, or several waterfront restaurants, we rent our boat under separate agreement! No need to pack bulky beach towels, we have plenty! We do have an "energy/electricity" fee for the House AC, firepit, heated pool & spa, and gas grill. It is included in the pricing total. During the winter the propane bill for the firepit and pool/spa heat is astronomical... as is the electrical bill for AC cranking 24/7 during the summer. We may give discount for the milder weathermonths. Extra guest fees of $20/night for number of guests over 8\. There's more wear and tear, more cleaning, higher utility bills, and the cleaning crew often cannot finish the towel and linen laundering before the next guest arrive later the same day, requiring them to take it off premises, or hire extra staff. Please note that the front door patio, driveway (which has back yard access), and the boat dock are under video surveillance This is solely for security while there are no guests at the house. Please note that the house is a Bi-level. The lower level walks out to the pool/spa/dock. Someone that has troubles with stairs may want a different property. Rental Agreement/house rules/pet addendum must be signed and returned to us within 72 hours of booking confirmation, or we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. You will find a link to this document at the bottom of the acceptance email you will receive when you book. If you wish to see it beforehand, you can email us to request it. If you have any questions or special requests, just ask! We really have striven to make this a wonderful place for a family or extended family to stay. We think you will really enjoy this home. We love the water South of TampaBay so decided to check out the Palmetto area. We were able to drop our boat in at Riverside Park which was a short boat ride to the house. We were so thankful the rain stayed away for a fabulous firework show. The pool/spa and outdoor living was perfect. Had a little trouble with the front door keyless enter but the owner was Johnny on the spot with an alternative entry. We will definitely return in the future. ##### Paula R. The home offered all possible needed amenities and more! There was something for everyone to do from the pool and fishing off the pier to indoor activities like the pool table and games. We had a great time and had everything we needed. Location was perfect. We found end of November had perfect weather. We rented the boat for a few days and that was a great experience. Grandkids were11,10, 7 and 6 - they spent the majority of the time in the pool and spa. Fished off the dock, played pool, foosball, ping pong, kayaked. We had a group of 8 ages 19-86 and everyone loved this house. It has everything it says it does and Jamie is very responsive. One thing it has that I did not expect is good cookware. I brought my own pan because I scramble eggs every day but the pans at the house handled my daily eggs and cooking for a crew.. ##### Allison H. We enjoyed the pool, spa, and boat! The location is safe, private, and quiet. Manatees swam right up to the dock! It’s a peaceful yard and we even saw a dolphin in the canal. It’s centrally located to the more touristy island like Ana Maria and Treasure Island. You can visit for the day and then return to Snead Island quieter pace. Jamie was incredibly quick to respond to questions and easy to communicate with. A thumbs up for our whole crew! ##### Joey G.
