Heater did not work in our room. There was no way to regulate the temperature. This was one of the most pleasant places we stayed on our trip in Alaska. I lived there in the past, wife didn't, both enjoyed the trip. Of the places we stayed, Alaska Glacier Lodge was the cleanest and easiest to relax in. He tried to refuse to bus our table, saying "the trash is over there." One of the reasons I booked is that this place had a restaurant. We were also disappointed in the choices and ate other places the next two nights. The rooms were fine, however, since the floors are wood, and nobody comes in the clean, I found that by the third night there was grit on the floor. I had to wipe my feet off before getting into bed. Most of the people were very nice, however. The surroundings were beautiful.
