This place is situated in quiet North Palm Springs in a gated community near the visitor center and tram and just a short drive to downtown. It is just an hour or so from Joshua Tree National Park and even closer to Morongo Canyon and Desert Hot Springs. Marilyn has done a fantastic job of decorating with 50's retro colors and art. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed is comfy, and the pool and spa are just a few steps away. Marilyn is a great communicator and an attentive host. We hope to stay here again!! ##### Marsha C. Overall a very good experience at this unit. Everything worked as it should, the unit was clean and unit was just a few steps to a beautiful gated pool which we used numerous times. We never did figure out how to use the common area washers and dryers. You can only access using an app, whichever never seemed to work. The only other downside, there really is no usable patio. The owner Marilyn, asked me to take the last 2 1/2 weeks in Jan 2021 also. I did and she guaranteed I would get first chance to rebook in 2022\. We put it in writing. Once I was in the condo she notified me that she booked the condo for 2022 before she promised me the rebook. I found that to be very dishonest and untrustworthy. Her word is worthless. She lied. As for the condo, it was gritty. The whole place needs a professional cleaning from top to bottom. And you could hear the folks in the condo above relieving themselves in their toilet. Having uber come or guest was a challenge with the gate as you cannot always inform when you are being picked up. So walking to the gate for everything was a bit less for me with back problems.
