### Mid-Century Bliss - Spacious Flat Roof Retreat

Relaxing and spacious - this 2 bed/3 bath retreat is authentic mid-century! Central to downtown in the Tahquitz River Estates neighborhood, your desert oasis is situated on a quiet and private oversized lot. Outside features stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains, a saltwater pool, a green lawn, patio & dining areas. The interior features period appropriate furnishings, architectural touches, updated kitchen & baths, comforts for a great stay + those views!

Our Relaxing Flat Roof Mid-Century Retreat is in the middle of a nice quiet neighborhood and takes full advantage of the indoor/outdoor Palm Springs lifestyle. The rear of the 1955 home is all glass, facing the pool and outdoor entertaining spaces with lovely views of the San Jacinto Mountains. The large saltwater pool, sun/shade lounge areas and a dining area with gas cooktop and propane grill in the landscaped yard are spectacular. The side and back gardens have fruit trees - help yourself! The outdoor space is fully enclosed and private, no roof lines or neighbors' windows in view.  
  
Inside, find a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with a new Frame TV, and dining for 8 plus the sunken bar with seating for 6.  
  
The Primary Bedroom features a king size bed, flatscreen, desk, dresser and mirrored closets. The ensuite 'Brigitte Bardot Backstage Bath' has a shower, dual sinks, vanity, skylight and direct access to the backyard pool and entertaining areas.  
  
The Guest Room has a queen size bed, flatscreen, desk, dresser and mirrored closet. The 'Space Age Boomerang Bath' immediately next door features a walk-in shower, separate tub, vanity and dual sinks.  
  
The Den area adjacent to the living room has a custom deluxe queen sofa bed for extra guests, a leather sofa & chair for watching the flatscreen and a desk with inspiring views.  
  
Both bedrooms also have Laptop-friendly workspaces and the home is equipped with Spectrum High Speed Internet.  
  
What's nearby: Tahquitz River Estates in desirable south Palm Springs is a great walking neighborhood. Walking and hiking trails are located nearby along the Tahquitz River trail system. You are a mile and a half (a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute drive) to the vibrant downtown and the famed shops, restaurants, museums and attractions on Palm Canyon Drive.  
Gabino’s Creperie, Bar Cecil, Mirasol, Seymour’s, Mr. Lyons Steakhouse, Elmer's, the ACE Hotel & Swim Club with the King's Highway diner and the Amigo Room cozy bar are just a short stroll away.  
The Moorten Botanical Garden is also less than a mile walk.  
Your relaxing retreat and spacious oasis is a 10-minute drive from the airport yet feels miles away.  
  
Guests have access to all areas of the property. Please treat the home as you would your own!

Maximum of 4 adults and 2 children (12 and under) allowed by the City of Palm Springs for short term stays. City requires all short term guests to sign contract that they have read & understand the City Rules.  
  
You must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property.  
  
Pool heat is an extra $65/day or $375/week from October 1 - May 31 and is payable upon check-in (for short-term stays). It may be suggested outside these dates depending on weather conditions. We heat the pool to a comfortable temperature of 85 degrees - guests are not permitted to touch the pool equipment for any changes.  
  
Pet dogs will be considered, and fee depends on your dog's size/breed and length of stay - your cute canine must be approved before booking.  
  
No smoking in or around the property.
