Taking you back to the early part of last century, while offering all the modern amenities of today, Casa Fierro is the perfect retro retreat. PS #067850 Enter past the high hedges surrounding this particularly private property and the overt Spanish stylings of this vacation home will instantly impress. As you pass through the traditional dark wooden door and step onto the terra-cotta tiles, you will be instantly transported to another era. As you move up the hallway, the large open-plan living space will beckon you in. The lounge area features generously soft leather sofas and arm chairs, a wall mounted large TV, a sizable retro-style Marshall bluetooth speaker, and even a sideboard stocked with various board games. The adjacent dining area features a traditional wooden table with seating for eight, and just like the lounge, enjoys both a beautiful tongue and groove wooden ceiling as well as views to the pool area. The adjoining fully-stocked kitchen meanwhile gives you beautiful smooth white quartz countertops, all the cooking amenities to create the ultimate paella, as well as direct access to the two car garage that also houses the laundry facilities. Out in the perfectly manicured back yard, the saline pool (heated upon request) and spa awaits, from which you can take-in those panoramic mountain views. Ample sun lounges with shade umbrellas present the ideal place to work on that desert tan, while at night, the adjacent fire pit is the perfect spot to take in the stars on those cooler desert nights. In keeping with this home’s style, the second bedroom gives you a traditional rustic-style wooden king-sized bed with luxurious hotel quality mattress, Brooklinen linens, wall-mounted TV, work desk and ample closet space. The third bedroom meanwhile gives you the flexibility of two queen beds, each with Brooklinen linens and hotel quality mattresses, as well a wall-mounted TV, and ample closet space, plus close proximity to the central bathroom with its traditional Spanish tiling and walk-in shower behind the glass brick screen. There are strict music, noise, and parking restrictions in Palm Springs and the booking guest will be responsible for any and all fines incurred during their visit. We reserve the right to immediately cancel any guest stay without a refund if any of the rental rules are violated. No more than 3 cars may be parked at this home during your stay. All activities must be taken inside by 10 pm to comply with the city wide quiet hours ... and to be good neighbors. A copy of a government issued ID will be required of the booking guest along with signing an additional private rental contract acknowledging the rental guidelines and rules and all adult guest names listed on the contract. Pool heating is optional at a rate of $95 per night of your visit. Spa heating is included with your reservation and can be heated on demand. • This home is not child proofed. Cabinets are not secured, there is a pool and hot tub without child locks, and we do have MANY breakable items in the home. We welcome adults who bring well behaved children but we expect them to fully supervise children at all times and do not advertise or guarantee that the home is in any way child safe /child proofed. • NO CHECK-IN ON HOLIDAYS. If your reservation start date falls on any holiday listed you will need to rebook your check-in date. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, & Labor Day. •There are noise ordinances here in PS, so NO MUSIC is allowed outside on any device at ANY TIME. In addition, there can be no outdoor noise after 10PM. There is NO MUSIC ALLOWED OUTSIDE. NO music on your phone, bluetooth device - NO MUSIC. If someone reports you to the City of Palm Springs, or the police, you will be responsible for ANY & ALL fines and you can and will be subject to removal from the property with no refund for unused time. The minimum charge is $500 if they are called out and if a complaint is made to our staff, city compliance, or the police, and/or citation is issues you will be asked to leave immediately with NO refund - so PLEASE have fun but bring it inside after 10PM and remember about the music being a NO NO at anytime outdoors - not even inside with doors open so it can be heard outside. • 12.5% tax has been charged as a “Transient Occupancy Tax” per the City of Palm Springs requirements for any stays under 28 nights. •Bookings over 28 nights are not subject to TOT tax. •An outside contract is required by the city of Palm Springs will need to be read and signed prior to your visit. A link will be sent after your reservation is confirmed. The decor, the cleanliness, the location! The beds and linens were SO comfortable! The kitchen appliances amazing! The yard so beautiful! Our family had an amazing time. The challenges were: Check in process had a lot of forms and paperwork. I do not think it was the management process, but instead the rules of the town. We could not get the spa hot enough for our liking. No music outside? Sad. We also could have used more towels. However, We would DEFINITELY recommend this spot! The Hosts of the Most were so gracious and even mailed us our lost pickle! We would love to return!
