You’ll be top dog when you select this stunning Mid-Century home for your Palm Springs vacation! PS Wag is an original Meiselman that will give you the feel of that famous Palm Springs architecture with all of the modern conveniences inside and a beautiful outdoor setting to relax. Fully updated and furnished with custom art work created specifically for this home, PS Wag is a sleek and modern home with walls of glass overlooking the South-facing pool and the San Jacinto Mountains in the distance. An open floor plan allows for easy entertaining and enjoyment inside and out with a stylish but casual living room with fireplace, formal dining that sits 8-10 and a modern cook’s kitchen with quartz countertops, new appliances and every countertop gadget you would need to fix and serve any meal you have in mind. The home is well stocked with serving pieces as well as drinking and dining ware appropriate for both indoor and outdoor enjoyment. The entertainment continues outside with a built-in natural gas BBQ, ample granite sideboards, and casual seating/dining area that overlooks the beautiful pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information) and brand new cascading spa. Multiple retreats in the backyard allow for you to enjoy gathering around the gas fire pit with built-in seating; an outdoor shower allows guests to rinse off before heading inside. PS Wag offers two Master suites and two guest bedrooms that share a hall bath. The bathrooms are absolutely stunning with step-in showers. Truly there is a room for every taste – or breed. The Hollywood Master sits at the front of the home with ensuite bath, King size bed, 40” TV and ceiling fan decorated in true Hollywood Regency style. The corner guest bedroom is a Mid-Century poolside treat that offers a King bed, 40” TV ceiling fan and single slider that opens to just steps away from the pool area and outside shower. The two Queen guest bedrooms share the gorgeously-tiled, spa-like bathroom just down the hall. The Pup Springs guest bedroom is a gallery of custom artwork and decorative touches. It has a queen bed as well, 40” TV and ceiling fan and a slider that opens to a back patio near the grassy area and orchard. The true primary is the delightful rear suite offering a writing desk, gorgeous chaise lounge, 50” TV and an incredible bath with oversized step-in shower and dual vanities. This Master also opens with double sliders to its own patio aside the four-hole putting green. The owners of this home are dog lovers and will donate proceeds from their Palm Springs home to the local animal shelter. This beautiful vacation rental is just a short drive or easy bike ridge to downtown Palm Springs (1.5 miles) with its many bars, shops, restaurants, and art galleries and area casinos, spa resorts, tennis, golfing, museums and the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. You'll enjoy quick access to the airport, but surprisingly little airport noise. Sunrise Park is a premier neighborhood of Palm Springs. The neighborhood is rich with architecture and history. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed. \- Per City ordinance, no music is allowed outside the (fully enclosed) home, at any time of day. \- Per City ordinance, we are required to have your ID on file. We were disappointed with the overall quality of the house and the upkeep of the yard and landscaping was not what the pictures reflected. The house has some wear and tear and needs some TLC. When we arrived, the heater on the pool was broken and the hedge was 4ft higher than the pictures and was towering over the pool and blocking the view. The property management company was very quick to remedy the situation, but I shouldn’t have had to call in the first place. The owners wrote a nice note and bought us a bottle of champagne, but for the price we paid for the house, I feel disappointed. In contrast, our friends rented a similar 4br house on the same street during the same time and it was immaculate and they didn’t have any of the issues we encountered. ##### Justin A. The house decor is really well done with the dog theme. The salt water pool and hot tub were great! We spent almost every day just hanging out in the pool. We only used the three bedrooms that lined the hallway on one side of the house. The fourth bedroom gets hotter because of the wall that it is on (from the PS heat) so that could be a problem for someone that needs a cooler room to sleep. It has HVAC like the rest of the house, contrary to another review, but just doesn’t stay as cool. The property management company consists of several people and working with them was really seamless. The house was in excellent condition, with a large living room and comfortable beds. The neighborhood was OK, but not as nice as some others in Palm Springs. It's close to the airport, so you hear the jets taking off, but that's true almost anywhere in Palm Springs. It is decorated perfectly, the beds are super comfy and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need! The location is perfect too....so close to everything you need but in a nice quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. We were a little concerned that it was close to the airport, but we didn’t hear a single plane the whole week we were there. The only reason for losing a star was that the spa was giving us some fits throughout the stay....something in the electrical system but they were having an electrician come the day we checked out so I’m sure that has been resolved. We still used the pool and it was fabulous! Another reason for losing a star was that the fencing around the back yard isn’t really small dog friendly. I brought my 4 and 8 pound Yorkies and they easily slipped right through the fence and under the service door in the back yard and they could’ve been in the street in a flash (I caught them before they got there). I brought a gate from home to secure them while we were out, but I ended up using it outdoors to block the fence. That helped but we still had to be very cautious of their whereabouts anytime they were outdoors. However, if you don’t have dogs or have bigger dogs this isn’t an issue and you will LOVE this house! It’s fantastic!! The hosts were all so helpful and kind. We really had a very nice visit to Palm Springs for my daughter’s dance competition and will be looking for this house again when we come back! ##### Jessalyn B. Great attention to detail - at various points we used the outdoor dining area and grill, the outdoor fire pit, the indoor fireplace, the patios off the bedrooms. It worked for our family (ages 4 to 65) and offered plenty of privacy and good group spaces. The kitchen was exceptionally well-furnished and organized for a real cook. The outdoor spaces were superb. The mid-century modern feeling was well-done and very fun. The host, Scott, was great too! ##### Mina S.
