U Summary: Relax on the balcony and experience the calming sounds of the waves while watching the pelicans as they fly so close you can almost touch them. If you love taking pictures, you’ll really have an experience trying to capture these magnificent creatures on camera. But be ready! They have a tendency to dart right by before you can even get your finger on the button! With a sweeping, unobstructed ocean-front view, the balcony provides a comfortable space for everyone, offering perfect relaxation for watching the ocean sunrise with a cup of coffee or the moonrise with your favorite glass of wine. Inside, you’ll find a comfy environment for chilling out to watch your favorite cable TV program on the flat screen 4K UHD TV or enjoy your favorite movie from two shelves of family-friendly DVDs. You’ll find a complete cable package as well as high-speed wireless internet access. The unit has open plan living, kitchen and dining areas, all with a great ocean view. For snacks, meals or entertaining, the kitchen is fully equipped and a delight to use, providing granite countertops and all of the appliances and necessary utensils to create your own gourmet feasts. Choose to share your meals and snacks in the dining area, seated around the full size dining table, or out on the balcony so you can take in the spectacular views while enjoying your meals. When you explore your new surroundings, we anticipate you’ll find them to be even better than the photos, with unique design features throughout to make you feel comfortable and at home. From floor to furnishings to full-height ceilings, the interiors are as wonderful as the views. Great for long-term stays! The unit sleeps 6 guests offering a choice of a king bed, queen bed and two twin beds in the three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own HDTV. In the large master suite, you'll find very comfortable furniture and rich linens to keep stress and worry a world away. The en suite bathroom and its garden soaking tub offer additional relaxation. The front bedrooms are cozy and inviting and the second bathroom in the front hall also has a security bar by the tub, shelves and hooks for added convenience during your stay. For fun on the beach, the twin bedroom closet has toys, chairs, beach mats, and towels. Cinnamon Beach at Ocean Hammock Beach Resort rentals include access to a large ocean front heated pool and spa, a second heated pool with a gradual walk-in slope for kids and families, spa, a splash zone for kids, a fitness center, an adult game room with pool table, a kids’ game room with foosball table and video games, a seasonal grille, and picturesque walking and jogging trails. We have provided a Welcome Guide that contains necessary information for your stay as well as information and menus for our favorite local places. In addition, you will find activities including golf and shopping in Palm Coast, and lots of interesting things to do in both Historical St Augustine and St Augustine Beach. Finally, you'll be dealing directly with Sue and Steve Harrison of SHS Realty Services, P.A. We also personally own two condos in Cinnamon Beach and have successfully managed and rented several others since 2013\. Full access to the county owned public beach via the Cinnamon Beach dune walkovers. The Neighborhood: Cinnamon Beach is an unspoiled, picturesque stretch of the Atlantic coastline nestled between Historic Saint Augustine to the north and Daytona Beach to the south. Cinnamon Beach is known for its unique cinnamon colored sand, a natural result of the ocean waves lapping against the offshore coquina reef. Miles of uncrowded beach offer a low-key and laid-back environment to just sit and enjoy the relaxing beach life. There are plenty of local restaurants for dinning and entertainment. Visit the Captain’s BBQ at Bings Landing on the inter-coastal water way, or the many shops and restaurants in the European Village. For a unique experience try the Funky Pelican right on the ocean in Flagler Beach just 15 minutes away. If you are looking for adventure, then a day trip into historic Saint Augustine is a must. Walk along St. George street and experience the eclectic collection of shops, restaurants, and countless entertainment options. Getting Around: No public transportation. The resort area (grounds and exterior building) was well maintained, and the pool and weight room were in great condition and easy access from our condo. Upon entering the condo, you are stuck by its size of the living space and view of the ocean and beach. What you immediately noticed was the size of the patio. It was spacious and the furniture was in great condition. Every morning we enjoyed coffee out on this patio and in the evening, we watched the night sky after dinner. The house came stocked with all the basics that you need upon an arrival at a home. The availability of basic household items (towels, hand soap, dish soap, and toilet paper) was a huge plus for those of us arriving later in the evening. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. The living and dining spaces were bigger than we expected. The dining room hardwood table made a perfect dinner and game table. The kitchen was a bit small but had nice appliances and was well stocked with pans, plates, glasses, and utensils. A big plus for a family vacation was the large pantry to store our groceries. The beach is wonderful in size, family friendly for beach games and to lay out in plentiful Florida sun. There are a lot of large rocks along the shoreline of the beach area at the condo that makes it a challenge to get into the water. But I found that if you go south by about 200 yards the rocks fade away and there are some great sandy beach areas for wading in the water. Overall, the beach area is very nice. At the boardwalk to/from the beach there is a shower area where you can wash off the sand when you were returning to the condo. One of the nicest touches about this area was that every day a very nice maintenance person would clear out the shower areas from the prior days sand deposited. It’s a little thing but made a big difference to have a clean area to wash off the beach sand prior to going to the condo. Staying at this condo was a joy and our excellent host Sue made sure we had all the paperwork taken care and she was super friendly and assisted us in making our trip an excellent time. So, if you are looking for a terrific place to take a break from reality Pelican watch is a great choice. ##### robert t. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves. Our biggest downside was our inability to sleep in because the window treatments let in too much early morning sun. We have the same problem every year. I say this not to knock a star off, but to let future vacationers know to bring a dark sheet or blanket to help with that if you are like me and are unable to sleep with the light. Sue is very communicative and gave us all the info we needed for a smooth and comfortable stay, including restaurant recommendations. The 2 pools in the complex are great, we enjoyed them both frequently as well as the hot tubs. Evening walks were so pleasant, many friendly people were out and about and willing to say hello and tell you where they are from. Low traffic in the area and very safe streets. The condo was so nice, lovely furnishings, all the comforts of home. The condo balcony is big and perfect for hanging out. The kitchen was fully stocked, we did not want for a thing. The only thing I suggest guests bring with them other than food is paper towels and tp. The kitchen even has seasonings provided. There is a Publix just around the corner and so easy to get to with no traffic. Something to be aware of if you like to swim or body surf, the beach is rocky. At high tide, you can't see the rocks, but as the tide goes out they become visible. It's ok for kids to play in the water at high tide, but I'd keep them close to the shore, and for body surfers, maybe wait until the rocks are visible before you head out with your board. You can get past them to a sand bar and more waves, but I wouldn't want to try to navigate them without being able to see them. The beach has a slope to it at high tide, but it evens out a bit at low tide and is easier to walk on then, especially with athletic shoes. Beautiful sand, even though it's got shells in it, it was not uncomfortable to walk on. This was our first stay in Palm Coast, and we will definitely be back. We discovered if you drive a few miles into town, up Palm Coast Parkway, there is every store you could want available. If you want unique shops and gifts, European Village is just down the road, but be aware it seems to mostly just be open and lively in the evenings, definitely not Mondays though. Probably Wed - Sat evenings would be the best time to go, maybe prior to 5 to catch the gift shops open. It took us 45 minutes to get to St. Augustine down A1A, there are plenty of unique shops/art there if that is what you are looking for. Prior to this, we had always stayed in St. Augustine, but the area has just become too crowded for us to feel totally relaxed. We enjoyed Palm Coast much more, it was truly a getaway from it all and the most relaxing beach stay we have had in years.
