Perfect for those who want to get the true Hawaiian experience. Colony One at Sea Mountain Condos are located on the South end of the Big Island only 60 minutes from Hilo and 80 minutes from Kona and 25 minutes from Volcano National Park. The two closest towns are Na’alehu (7 miles South) and Pahala (5 miles North). Walk to the world famous Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, and swim with the green sea turtles which bask on the beach all day long. All short drives from the resort: Green Sands Beach, South Point Cliffs, Kilauea Volcano, Ka’u Coffee Mills, and so much more. Green Sands Beach is the only natural beach in the world that encompasses beautiful green sand made out of olivine crystals. South Point cliffs are the most southern point in the United States and are world renowned for amazing views and cliff jumping excitement. However the listing states there is a queen pull out bed but there is not. It's a small uncomfortable couch. Both my kids had to sleep on it and my toddler fell off at night and slept on the cold floor. The next night he slept in bed with us which makes for non of us getting sleep.
