Mother nature likes to keep us on our toes, expect weather of varying degree and enjoy the sun when you get the chance. Always pack a jacket, bring sunscreen, and remember we live at altitude and altitude sickness is very real and very not fun! Drink lots of water, eat and be merry! Should you visit during the winter months know that: We get snow! During the winter months we boast the MOST snow in Colorado, and we mean it! Be prepared to have to drive in snow, park in snow, walk in snow and play in snow! We love our snow! If you are driving here, be sure to rent a vehicle or own a vehicle that has 4-wheel drive capabilities. Don't know how to drive in it? Pretend grandma is in the backseat holding a tray of gravy! Go slow. There is a pet fee of $30, with a limit of two pets, and pets must weigh 35 lbs or less. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless otherwise arranged.
