"Wonderful forest retreat with a stunning porch view. Clean and accurate to the posting and further from the road than it appeared which was nice because you weren't hearing the limited road traffic. Secluded, yet a short drive to town and shopping. The arcade game, ping pong and air hockey, were a nice touch for when rain kept us inside. The host was east to deal with and I would recommend this to anyone. One note, there is a bit of a walk through a forested trail to the fire pit, which if you have physical limitations may be a challenge."

"We have stayed several times in this home. This was our first time visiting in spring time. The home is beautifully situated directly on the Hudson. The river melt running by was amazing. It was a beautiful sight to wake up to out the primary bedroom sliding glass doors.The home is a quaint Adirondack home with every cooking utensil and appliances one could possibly need; perfect for home cooking, if desired. Or if dining out is preferable: Warrensburg, Lake George, Bolton Landing, Gore are all driving distance and have dining options to meet most budgets and tastes. The home has plenty of outdoor seating options. It has a gas grill for cooking and all the necessary grilling utensils. It also has a nice firepit with ample dry wood available for use. This place is just a gorgeous to hang out. I can't think of a single thing the owner hadn't thought of. I'd recommend this home to anyone looking to get away from life for a while. We are looking forward to staying again at some point in the future."

"We had stayed for the U-18 NE Regionals held at Gore Mt with 4 Families. There was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and the house had a well-stocked kitchen. Nicole was very attentive and was quick to respond on all inquiries. I would definitely love to return!!! "

"This was our first vacation rental as we were reluctant to try it after reading horrible stores about hidden fees and a tons of house cleaning list. We took a plunge this time and I am glad we did it. If you cook a lot (not us), a large party (not us), then this is perfect. It was a bit too big for us since we are used to staying at hotels. But it was nice to have a full kitchen (all we did was warming up our prepared food) and have separate space so that we could do our own work. The townhouse is really on a lakefront --We took a short walk the first day. Then we got busy and it was rainy, so we were not able to do it again while we stayed. It is very quiet around here. Luckily we did not see any (scary) wild animals, so it was all good! As city folks, we tend to get worried about seeing 'wild animals". The check-out list was not much, so our view on using vacation rental has changed--that we will probably use vacation rentals more in the future."

"The house is very cozy and well located - close to restaurants, grocery, gas and about 20 min to Gore mountain. Furniture, fixtures, etc are a bit dated but overall was comfortable and had what we needed. Plenty of towels, and host provided shampoo, soap etc which many rentals dont have. We did have a few mechanical issues which were generally resolved- host was responsive although its hard to believe they were previously unaware of them. House had a very damp, musty smelling basement that created air quality issues we noticed immediately. I purchased a dehumidifier from Home Depot because we arrived at night and with asthmatic children i couldn’t risk waiting for the owner. The dehumidifier did the trick but owner never acknowledged that issue. We also had an issue with 1 toilet not flushing and no heat (55 degrees) our first night but owners did resolve those our second day (replaced a valve, upgraded an electrical circuit- so not a case of user error) overall we had a nice stay "

"Completely accurate description. The house was very well set up, bright and warm. Very convenient for all the ski locations in the area, and the snow shoeing trails. We've been coming to the Adirondacks for years - this is the loveliest place in which we've stayed. "

"Great vacation house. Four bedrooms, two living areas, big kitchen great for cooking, and large kitchen table great for dining and board/card games. Clean. Has washer & dryer. Close to restaurants/gas/grocery store. Under 30 minutes to Gore. They did a great job plowing snow, so we were never stuck. Highly recommend! Excellent communication with the host."
