Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s. • This complex is currently for sale – guests may receive showing requests during their stay • Construction is underway across the alley; crews adhere to City of Ouray noise ordinances • STR Permit #2025-1043 Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. Jul 24, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We enjoyed our stay at Ouray Mission Rock 2.This would have been marked Excellent except for a couple of issues that crept up, the boiler went out twice, and the wifi was very spotty. Service men re-lit the boiler both times it went out and so we did have hot water after an hour or so each time. We did report the wifi issue but rather than worrying about it we just used the wifi hotspot on one of our cell phones. Those 2 issues aside, this accommodation was quite nice and we'd use it again.It's a short 2 block walk to main street where most of the shops and restaurants are located, although there is one nice Mi Mexico restaurant directly across the street. The Ouray Grocery store is on main street in the same block. Ouray Ice House Coffee Shop and Ice Cream is a block and 1/2 up the street towards Main and Mouse's Chocolates is on main a block south. If you like to walk there is a 2 mile river walk loop that starts at the Ouray Visitor Center and goes down stream. We were in Ouray over July 4th and enjoyed the fireworks the fire department put one. Ridgway is 8 miles down stream and also has good restaurants and a rail road museum where they give rides on one of the original Rio Grande Southern Galloping Geese.Again we'd reiterate we'd use this accommodation again on another trip to Ouray. ##### Lucian S. Close walk to main hot springs which was great and convenient. We could easily let our kids walk home while we shopped around and knew they were 1/2 block from main shopping/dining area. The space was nice and it had plenty of beds and space for our family and fur baby. Only thing I’d ask for in the future is they gave you these great bathroom soaps and shampoos. They also had a kitchen set with stuff to help but we only had 1 dishwasher pod and we were staying I believe 5 days. Certainly not expecting 5 days worth but a few would have been nice. Even a email with suggested things to bring in advance so I’m not paying tiny market place prices in town to wash daily dishes. With a family of 5 we went through dishes easily and had to run the dishwasher a few times. I did bring laundry detergent even thought they had some there but dishwasher pods we only had one in the house. My family and I stayed a week at the house. It was in a perfect location with a wonderful view. The house is well maintained and it is very spacious. We will definitely stay here again. Overall we liked the property, however the internet didn’t work. We messaged the host about this and they sent out a tech to troubleshoot, we ended up having to use our own hotspot to work from the property, which was disappointing since the high speed internet was a factor in us choosing this property. Also, this is a ground level unit and the people upstairs were loud and kept us awake pretty late, they walked so loud they kept waking all of us up including our 6 month old baby. ##### Christina H. Sadly only giving four stars due to the noise from upstairs, hardwood floors let us hear every foot step until 1am one morning.
