Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temps drop into the 40s. • STR Permit #2025-1050 About the Area: Nestled at the San Juan Gateway, Ouray, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year. In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. During the winter season bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, Downhill or Nordic skis and enjoy a wide variety of winter activities. Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. Enjoy a 60-minute scenic drive to Telluride Ski Resort for a full day of the top five runs in America according to Conde Nast. The town of Ouray has a wide variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, unique shops and Ouray Hot Springs. A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. Location was good and very easy to get everywhere with access to hiking just a short walk from property. We grilled and cooked and made ourselves at home. Would love to stay here again. ##### Alex K. Only small complaints were temperature related. I missed the no air conditioning on the info page...and coming from Alaska, having temperatures in the high 80s and even 90s were not within my tolerable level. Its actually why I got a rental place instead of camping! However, I missed that and that's on me. However, there was only one decently portable fan and a couple windows and blinds needing repair for operability to keep things cooler. Definitely not a deal breaker or a major problem, just a caution in hotter temperatures for us sensitive folk. Would still rent here again. (And check out time is at 10am with chores...kind of early) ##### Becki S.
