"A two-night stay at this charming hotel on Cristobal Island, tucked away from all noise. Nature at its best. Freshly caught lobsters and seafood, and the best gourmet breakfasts and dinners prepared by the owners. We shared laughs, stories, and karaoke in the evenings with other guests. They also coordinate tours and other activities on the beaches and surrounding islands. Also I recommend this wonderful place for a Pilates retreat - Yoga - Family reunion promotion, etc."

"Ataraxia is a peaceful and beautiful place hidden between jungle and sea. Saw plenty of wild life both on land and at sea. The food was delicious and the owners and staff always teady to go the extra mile to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Would come back a hundred times if i could. For.the price difference treat yourself to an ocean view cabin, they are fantastic."

It had A/C, but we hardly used it as it was not that hot when we went. Loved the restaurant and bar in the hotel, makes it really convenient. The beach was also clean and the water was nice and warm. "We stayed as a family of 4\. This place was perfect. Friendly, attentive staff, plenty of delicious food and drinks, and a comfortable air conditioned cabana. We spent most of our day at the pool with a view over the lake and also tried kayaking. The overwater restaurant was a good place to see fish and turtles. We also enjoyed relaxing on our deck with a book. Highly recommend this place to anyone! "

"Lovely place. The staff was very attentive and bfast was really good! Great location just a few minutes walk to downtown and the national park. Lots of wildlife including howler monkeys. (The monkeys would start their noise around 4am so if you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs!) "

"The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also."
