The house was just as described and had everything we needed. The location and creek were amazing! The kids fished and tubed down town the creek and there were plenty of things to do in the area. Highly recommend white water rafting at the Natahala Outdoor Center on the chattooga river (about 40 minutes away) and the gold city gem mine (about 30 minutes). The owner Scott was very nice and accommodating also. The heat was on when we arrived which made the house very nice and warm. My grandsons loved the creek and having a campfire at night while roasting marshmallows. Lots of family memories made. Will definitely be back. ##### Jackie M. The property was great and the host, Scott, could not have been more attentive and helpful. The stream out back was great for our 16-year-old to fish in. The house is an easy drive from several fun activities. We enjoyed Waterfall viewing, Dry Falls was incredible, as well as Zip Lining at Highlands Aeriel Park. We rafted the Nantahala River and took the train ride into the Nantahala gorge, which was stunning (get the cars with the AC if in the summer). Apr 24, 2019 #### very welcoming home We enjoyed both the home and the yard. The kids enjoyed the creek and the rock they name "Pride Rock". It was too cold to get in the water but they still enjoyed the water. The house was very comfortable and the owner had provided lots of little extras to make us feel welcome and to enjoy during our stay. ##### Catherine K. Wanted a nice, private house in the Mountains with stream. We got everything we wanted and more!!! Owner was super helpful and friendly. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was a great place to unwind with the family and enjoy nature. The kids had a blast kayaking and hunting for gems in the stream. It was great to feel secluded, yet less than 15 minutes away from stores and shopping. Can’t wait to book again sometime! ##### Robert H. Scott was very communicative and available for any questions. The large covered porch overlooked the babbling creek, offering lovely sounds of nature and endless play time for the pups. Located just south of Franklin and just north of Clayton, both cute little towns with loads of locally owned shops and restaurants.
