Very quiet room, we stayed in 207 which is a bit of a trek from the main bar but I have had worse. (Peckforton Castle). If I had a slight gripe its the evening menu is poor on choice which is why I did not score the complete review as excellent. The managers kind and 100 percent focussed on hospitality. The interior was impressively decorated and the rooms beautiful. Cosy beds, excellent bed linen and fluffy towels. Great staff, consistently excellent food. Flexible and generous breakfast options. The room was a little smaller than in most modern hotels but the shower room was excellent, well equipped and stylish. Nespresso coffee machine in the room... no fridge. Welcoming and helpful reception staff. Service in the restaurant was mixed - just not quite as attentive as it might have been. The food was good but unadventurous, and reasonably priced. They are not cleaned properly with stains on the carpet and mold in the bathrooms. This is the second time we have stayed here and tried to give them a second chance.
