Make your home away from home at this central Cape Cod retreat. Ideally situated between Hyannis and Mashpee, this home boasts convenient access to Joshua's Pond, only a mile away. Explore a great selection of local shops and dining in downtown Osterville, a mile away. This beautiful property is close to Burgess Park, which offers a playground, basketball courts, and a small pond. Dowse's Beach and Craigsville Beach are also less than three miles away, making this the perfect spot for a summer vacation.

The peaceful and private backyard comes complete with a spacious patio furnished for outdoor living with a gas grill, covered dining table, and firepit lounge area, which includes a fire table.

Lower and main floor living areas each feature comfortable seating and smart TVs for flexible entertainment options. The main floor is bright and airy, with an open layout connecting the kitchen to promote group gatherings. A full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, and expansive counter space, come ready and equipped for home cooking. There's seating at the breakfast bar and the dining table for family meals. Modern essentials include baseboard heating, mini-split air-conditioners, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house layout and amenities were great. The twin beds were the most comfortable. It just seemed to be mediocre on the cleanliness, certainly could have been much better. There were dishes that needed a washing before use, carpets that needed a shampooing for sure. The outside furniture was covered but dirty underneath. All around just seemed as if the individuals staying there cleaned up, the cleaning staff said 'good enough'

Great house

House was very well appointed and very comfortable. It had everything you would need. The layout is great and it was bigger than it appeared in the listing. I would definitely book it again. The only issue was the door lock didn’t work and it took 45 minutes to resolve it. But once inside that was soon forgotten. Highly recommend the house. My only issue

A reunion gem

The house was great for us - 3 friends getting together after 40 yrs! Centrally located for what we wanted in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. The house was spotlessly clean and well appointed with pretty much any dishes and utensils we needed. Beds were all very comfortable; lots of towels available. (Many rentals skimp on towels.) Comfortable seating for watching TV / hanging out. The main floor great room layout was perfect and spacious. [We didn't need the basement space aside from the 3rd bath.] We do recommend adding AC instructions to the book with TV operation details as only 1 of us was familiar with the individual "mini" system -- the wall thermostat threw us off. Heads up that the washing machine is incredibly loud - it sounds like a plane is landing in the house -- but works well. A Keurig would be nice for meeting different coffee/decaf/tea preferences. Check-in/check-out were very easy, though it would be nice to have a live person available rather than digging through email links, app and text. The mix of VRBO and Vacasa messages/links was annoying when looking to determine what info was available where. We definitely recommend this house.

Cape Getaway

The home was lovely. We really enjoyed the house. Beds were very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. It was in a very nice neighborhood, and didn't take long to drive to the different towns. The only issues we had were, the door code was a challenge to use and we could not get 2 of the TVs to work. Better instructions would be helpful. We would definitely recommend this house, and would rent again.
