The home was built in 2004 and has 3300 Square feet on 1.14 Acres. Four very large bedrooms with all new linens and three and a half very well appointed bathrooms provides room to spread out and relax in style. The custom kitchen features granite counters, top of the line appliances and everything you'll need for family meals or entertaining on a large scale. Several living areas including a large living room , office and a huge game room make family vacations fun even if it's raining outside! The exterior of the home is large and professionally landscaped with walking paths ,a deck and a hot tub. The primary bedroom suite features a king size bed with full bathroom and is located on the first floor. The second floor features an additional 3 very large bedrooms and a new full bath. One room features a Queen bed ,one has a King and two Doubles and one has two Queens. In addition on the second floor is an office and an large family room perfect for kids. The lower level has an additional 1100 square feet of finished space with a game room and full bath. This well appointed home has central AC, two gas fireplaces a large back deck and beautifully landscaped yard. Osterville Village is one of seven Villages of the town of Barnstable. Located on the south side of the Cape, the Village faces beautiful Nantucket Sound. During the summer months,many events take place in the Village. Dating back to the 1600's the land was originally known as Cotachessett. As Oystering gained popularity the land came to be known as Oysterville, it is believed the name Osterville was the result of misspelling of the original name. Please note: the hot tub will only be available in June ,July, August and September Any rentals as of July 1,2019 will be subject to the new Mass. We were 7 women visiting for a golf tournament. The house is very spacious with plenty of beds and a very nice yard. The location worked great for us and communication with the owner was easy. It had a great game room, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use it. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Now for the bad, our first night the fire alarm went off, after checking for fire and found none, I called the owner and she sent someone out, it took about a half hour for the handy man to respond and he told us that this happened before recently. He really wasn't sure what is causing it, but took out an alarm that he thought was defective. Things like this unfortunately happen, and its totally understandable, but if it happened before, upkeep of the fire alarm should be a priority. We also had a big problem with tiny ants everywhere on the kitchen counter, I had to spray the counter twice but they kept on coming. After throwing out food that were infested by theses tiny ants, We couldn't leave anything on the counter concerned the ants would get into everything. It wasn't a bad place to stay, but the ant infestation made the stay less desirable. ##### Clifford C. We had 10 family members from the ages of 11-71 staying in this beautiful home. It had EVERYTHING you could possible need or want. It has a large variety of bath towels and beach towels. You do not need to bring any. All linens were supplied which is pretty rare to find on the Cape. All the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and pots and pans.The 4 bedrooms are all very large as is the living space, upstairs family room and downstairs bar/game area. A bonus was the large office that was used by our granddaughter as she worked remotely. The grounds are beautiful and the hot tub was enjoyed by many. The neighborhood is so very quiet. It is a short drive to Dowses beach and Craigville beach. The house has a beach pass which will get you into both beaches and all those in Barnstable. Osterville is certainly a very lovely area with some very nice restaurants and some nice, quaint shopping. The oldest members of our family have been going to the Cape for 60 years and this is by far the very best home that met all of our needs. No need to look any further. Maria was a wonderful host and answered all the questions we had in a very timely manor. ##### John Z. The place was clean and better than described. While pretty much everything is a drive from the property, we went in with eyes wide open. The air hockey table wasn't working and while the property manager was responsive, it wasn't possible to fix during our visit, which was the only detractor.
