Fairly good hotel - with average room. Fantastic breakfast. But price was ridiculously high giving expectation of a ***** experience. But the hotel is not 5 star experience.

We booked a business room for a family of two adults and two children and were assigned a room on the 11th floor. Everything was just perfect. The room is spacious and well equipped with everything you might need: a kettle, Nespresso machine, iron, fridge, safe, and hairdryer. You can tell the hotel has been recently renovated — everything feels new and spotless. Even the TV isn’t a retro Grundig from the 1990s, but a large, modern panel with excellent picture quality. The room was warm, and the bathroom had underfloor heating, which was especially pleasant during the freezing cold days in Oslo. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options to suit everyone’s taste. I particularly enjoyed the lightly cooked vegetables and the ginger shot. The only minor downside is that the breakfast area might be a bit small for a hotel of this size. You may have to wait briefly for a free table and queue for coffee, but it never felt like a real issue.

Comfortable room, clean, breakfast was the highlight. My only complaint was that the hotel was noisy. My room was situated near the stairs, so it’s possible the sound was coming from other guests walking up and down.

No laundry facility; should remove this item from the websites. Manager was not helpful & not friendly; hotel was far from the Norwegian cruise port & hotel taxi service outrageously pricy-not happy with it. There was luggage lift, but no staff know how to operate & non of staff offer to help with our luggages. Only good thing about this hotel was theirs breakfast- good & quality of foods.

The rooms are small and badly needing updated. The balcony and windows are cable tied shut - you can’t use them. They should remove the pictures from website. Room service horrible. They ignore requests to clean the room. Front desk - good luck - it will take an hour to check in. The clerk left at one point with us standing there. Pitiful.
