It is situated about midway between the two, making for a convenient stopping-off point in the middle of the Alpine valleys studded with ski chalets. So, check the location box—once you find the place, that is (we drove around for over 90 mins on those lovely rural routes trying to find the place, which even a GPS wasn’t of much help—a hint: it’s on the road between Aigle and Château-d’Oex, not Gstaad, at “Des Mosses,” which doesn’t rank mention on many atlases). Accommodations are basic, I would say.
