No shows, late arrivals and early departures will be charged the full amount for the entire reserved stay. MINIMUM AGE: We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 21 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Only wish i would have known about the pool heater ahead of time. Apparently they must be notified 3 days in advance to activate the pool heater. If one advertises a pool, shouldn't the heater be either included or told the option of a heater? Anyway, I'm not here to bash an otherwise very pleasant stay. Otherwise our stay was excellent. We spent most of our time in the unit just hanging out and it was all that we could have wanted. We cooked inside and outside on the grill and everything was wonderful. The property was well maintained, clean and worked perfectly for our family vacation. Gated entry to the property made the location a safe place to stay. We had a great little private pool as well as access to the property pool and waterpark. The location was only a short drive to the theme parks and about an hour from the coast. The only unfortunate was it was completely minimalistic with zero extras. There wasn’t salt and pepper or anything spiced. There was exactly one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, hand towels in the Wash clause. If I were to critique anything at all, I would’ve said leave at least an extra roll of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, soap, wet mop, at least for simple spills a swiffer the place was very beautiful and extremely clean. ##### nancy b. The communication from the property manager was excellent. The house has plenty of space and all the amenities that we needed. The only thing we needed to do was go to the grocery store (which is less than a mile away) for food and minor items we needed for the week. The best part was the access to the pool club with the lazy river, water slides, and a pool. Renting this house is a no-brained and I would definitely do it again. ##### Matthew R. The community pool/mini wyaer park alone is reason to stay in this complex.We did arrive with the AC not working and after a few phone calls, we were able to convince the owners (reality company) and it got fixed at 9:30 pm the night. We were thankful for that but frustrated since they said they knew about the broken AC beforehand.The other negative is rather minor but made us a little crabby. There is a bare minimum amount of things like soap, garage bags, dish washer pods (1) but there are signs everywhere to clean up the trash, do the dishes, etc.Overall good place to stay with it's limitations that if you're prepared for it'll work out.Definitely check out the community but maybe look around the complex. ##### Thomas M. The place itself was clean, had a lot of room and was very comfortable. The pool was small but the access to the waterpark more than makes up for it. The Shuttle ride to and from the park was easy and the staff was friendly. There were three things that could have made my trip better and they are all minor things. 1\. Would have liked to have TV's in each room for watching. 2\. Fans in each room 3\. A couple of trash bags not just one. Like I said they are minor things but overall it was a great stay and was a great deal for the money spent. Well manicured around the area as well. Garbage picked up daily. The included club house was a huge hit! We went almost every day, playing in the heated pool, lazy river and splash pad. The adults and kids all loved the smoothies and food there as well. The only things that was a negative was the splash pad was down for 3 days. And we had use of the grill for free, but when we went to use it, the propane tank was empty, the very first night there and we had to go exchange it at our expense. To me if a grill is considered included in the fee, we shouldn’t have to go and replace the propane tank; especially since we had been up super early that morning traveling and we just wanted to eat and relax for the night. Other than that, the only thing I would have done differently, I would have decided to pay for the pool at the condo to be heated. It was super cold for the little ones, as well as the adults. Overall a great place for family, plenty of room, a short walk to the clubhouse (1/2 miles) and very clean and kept up condo and neighborhood. ##### Melissa S. The decor was nice, not tacky and outdated like some vacation rentals are, and the kitchen was decently stocked - far better than most. If you plan to cook, I suggest bringing a rubber spatula, but we made do with what was there just fine. We visited in December and paid for pool heat, but the heater was not working. We received a quick response and they tried to repair it while we were there but were not successful. (Not their fault - this was over the Christmas and New Years holiday period). Received a full refund on the cost of pool heating, but it was a disappointment to not be able to use the pool we had planned on. If this matters to you, I’d verify that the repair has been made before renting. We have stayed at this resort (Storey Lake) previously and chose to return for the location and amenities. It is minutes away from Disney property but don’t let the Kissimmee address scare you - this is NOT in the high traffic area and you won’t be sitting in your car for ages. The resort amenities are also well maintained and workers are friendly - we’ve visited several times over the years and never had any issues. Overall we were very pleased and would definitely rent again provided the pool was useable. Our family of 8 had plenty of space and we were very comfortable. ##### Heather R. The condo was very clean, and looked just liked the pictures. The walls did have some scuff marks, probably from luggage, however that didn’t have any influence on our thoughts on the condo. The place had some utensils for cooking, but we needed a few more items. The condo is located within minutes from Walmart, so we just ran out to grab a couple of the utensils we needed. We really enjoyed the water park that was included with our stay. Our boys loved every minute swimming with n the pool and going around the lazy river. The pool was clean, and had a great atmosphere. They had music playing all day, and we enjoyed some drinks and lounging by the pool. We had amazing communication with our host. Gaby, was amazing, and followed up every moment she could to make sure we had everything we needed before our trip, and during our trip. The heater to the pool was broken, however it was very hot outside, and the pool was a perfect temperature. The alarm system had a faulty battery, and kept beeping non stop, every couple of seconds, and our just, Gabby, from De Paula Reality, was there to help. It was Memorial Day weekend, and it was hard to get someone out there to fix the alarm, and she was able to get that done for us. We were impressed with the communication, and all the amenities that came along with our stay. We will be booking another family vacation to this condo. ##### Deborah L. The location and house itself was perfect. The company (de Paula vacations) is the absolute worst! They offer a “free grill” in description but then tell you it’s a $50 charge to use (after you have already booked with them) and it’s locked up when we got there. They charged us for pool heating-$120 (knowing the heater has been broken completely with no plans to replace) and refuse to return calls or messages to refund after telling me they would PayPal me the refund, sketchy I know. They didn’t tell me the heater was even broken until the day before we checked in, and only because I called to ensure it would be turned on in time to check in. So basically they just took that money. The house has one bathtub, out of 3 bathrooms so if you have younger children just something to be mindful of. There was NOTHING in the house when we got there, no pot holders, starter soaps, kitchen towels, dishwasher pack, so bring it all if you plan to stay. Also, a baby gate would be helpful since the stairs are straight down to tile flooring. Like I said, the house was ok and clean and all, but I will never again deal with this crooked realty company.
