Disappointing
Tired, neglected and in need of a refresh. The beds appeared to be the original from when it was built or new owner purchased it, they all had the foam padding installed in attempt to try and make them acceptable, they were not as all were well past there best before date. The couches were stained, dirty, and springs were broken very uncomfortable to sit on, screws keep falling out of the dinning room chairs, most of all the other furniture was old, damaged and had appeared to come from a thrift store. The stove back panel had hole in the glass making it difficult to set temperature and time, oven door seal had portions missing or burnt off. Shower curtain in back bathroom had black molt growing on it, over all the house was dirty and in need of a deep cleaning. The cockroaches we killed in the garage was alarming.
The pool and liana area, when we booked the photos and comments showed a BBQ grill, and noted that renters were responsible for the propane, but there was no grill, and owners response when asked about it simple said "not sure what your talking about we don't have a BBQ". Pool heating at the beginning was hit and miss, with owner calling his pool guy for answers, we did get some heating after that, but after two weeks the spa quit working, and again owner said his pool guy was working on it. These were a couple of our wishes when we were looking to book, nice pool and spa with heating.
Parking is a large concern in this neighborhood as cars line one side of the street completely, was nothing to see a person parking and the walking down five or six house to were the lived. The driveway could only accept two small sized cars at best. Had Sister in laws car towed because she accidently parked one tire on the grass, $280 to get back, and extreme amount of stress on her. Management company had posted on fridge about trash and recycle bins had to be back next to house or a $75 dollar fee would be applied, but several location in the neighborhood garbage was piled on the grass, and overflowing bins stayed out for days with birds and raccoons seen tearing it apart , but if cars were near or grass they were towed without question.
Unable to give a good recommendation for this house, I'm sure the owner might feel and respond differently!!
