Windsor Island boasts an amazing pool area with a double water slide and a lazy river. Enjoy lounging about in the sun under a family cabana and bring snacks for a memorable day. Take the group on an adventure on the mini-golf course, or challenge each other on the basketball court, sand volleyball court, cornhole court, fitness area, or game room. Relax in the spa or hot tub, and gather around the firepit to tell stories and roast marshmallows. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. To use streaming services, guests must log in with their own credentials. NOTES ABOUT THE POOL (MUST READ): Pool heating is available from October 1st through May 1st with a three-day minimum booking. Pool heating is optional. The $32 PER DAY fee is charged to cover the cost of running the heater. The pool heater is turned on the morning of your check-in date (Day 1). If you request to have the pool heater on for your entire stay, it will be on for your entire stay, and be turned off after you check out - you do not pay for the check-out day. Please get in touch with Guest Services for more info or to request pool heat be added to your reservation. The pool is usually left unheated and can take 24 or more hours to heat. Please be aware that most of the pool heaters in this area are heat pumps, which means they extract the heat from the air and transfer it to the water. Although heaters are usually set to 85 degrees, the temperature they will reach is dependent on the current air temperature. Pool heating equipment will usually be able to increase the water temperature 15 to 20 degrees over 12 hours. If the outside temperature is 65 to 70 degrees, the heater most likely will not reach the set temperature of 85 degrees. If the outside temperature is below 60 degrees, the pool heating equipment will not be able to transfer any heat to the pool water. The pool heating equipment only runs when the pool pump is circulating water, which is normally 10 to 12 hours per day (8 am to 8 pm). The pool will cool off overnight and will reheat during the day. The equipment cannot run all day and adjustments to the timer are not allowed and will damage the equipment - costs to fix will be passed on to the guest. Most pools should have a thermometer in the skimmer basket. If the water temperature is higher than the current air temperature, then the heater is working. Also, many pools in Florida (including this one) have a spa attached to them, with jets below the waterline. These are not hot tubs and do not heat up like hot tubs. They warm to the same temperature as the pool and spill over into the pool. PLEASE ALSO NOTE: The fees for heating the pool apply when the heating equipment is turned on. If the outside temperature during your stay is too cold for the heater to heat the 15,000-gallon pool, the charges will still apply because the equipment is on. Temperatures in Florida in the late fall and winter months can drop into the 40s and 50s. When temperatures are that low for any period of time, pool heating is almost impossible. But if the heater is on, it is running and the costs to keep it that way will apply. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Security camera details: Camera located at front entrance & on pool equipment 3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool and pool spa. A fee of USD 32 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool and pool spa heat for your stay. We really appreciated how well-kept and comfortable it was — great value for the price.However, the homes are quite close together, so noise carries easily. Our neighbors had kids swimming at 6:30 a.m., which made for an early start to the day. The location was also a bit farther from Disney than expected — about 30–45 minutes, and traffic on the main road to the property was often heavy.It would be helpful if the condo included some basic essentials like salt, pepper, or coffee filters — simple items that don’t go bad quickly and make a stay more convenient.We were a bit disappointed with the resort amenities. The pools were fine at first but became too cold to enjoy later in the week. The staff seemed disengaged, and the music at the bar and pool overlapped on two channels, which made it a bit unpleasant to relax there.Overall, the condo itself was excellent for the price, but because of the noise, distance, and resort experience, we’d likely choose a different property next time. ##### Teresa P. The location was great, the house was clean and had everything we needed for a family of 9\. I didn't give it a 5 star due to a few glitches that mostly worked out. The hosts were responsive except for the dryer had no heat so we couldn't dry clothes and that didn't get resolved while we were there. It worked out fine, but an inconvenience. Also, we had trouble with a late-arriving party in our group not making it through security at the gate, even though Vacasa confirmed later that they'd had all our car / guest information. Just make sure you check that before your group heads there. Otherwise a great stay, nice neighborhood, spacious clean house with everything you need for a great Disney vacay - our granddaughter loved the Encanto room! ##### Jennifer B. The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped for a family getaway. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. Our kids loved the variety of toys and games, both indoors and for the pool. The pool and patio area were clean and had lots of seating — perfect for relaxing or playing.The home came fully stocked with everything we needed, from pool toys to board games for rainy afternoons. The only minor downside was that the upstairs AC didn’t get quite as cool as we would’ve liked. A posted note asked guests not to set the thermostat below 72\. It made sleeping slightly warmer than ideal but didn’t affect our overall experience.The resort pool was also a favorite! We’d definitely recommend this home to other families. ##### JAMIE G. Not the entire house, but each room had one disgusting thing. Toilets had pee on them, Breda had stains on sheets! Like bodily fluid stains. Yuck! The dishes in the cabinets were dirty. Towels had stains that washed right off so that means they just didn’t wash them and let us come there with our kids in a dirty home! I am extremely disgusted. I felt uncomfortable letting my family get too cozy cuz it was just gross. ##### Tiffany C. Property manager took a day or two to reply. Lazy river/water park was a 10 minute walk away. Heating the pool was extra & spa never really got warm. It was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. Its spacious layout made it perfect for accommodating a large family of 10\. The location was ideal, being close to Disney. Unfortunately, we couldn’t fully enjoy the condo amenities due to unusual cold weather for Florida, but they still looked great. Despite this, I would definitely recommend this house for a memorable stay. ##### Martin L.
