Two stars is our honest opinion that the house itself is beautiful and could have been very comfortable. We had no A/C in the downstairs for most of the stay. There were two other issues for ants and for a clogged dryer vent which were remedied in a reasonable time although only after nagging on the app. The big issue was the poor communication and poor customer service. The management firm, aside from the first after hours call they responded to quickly, was impossible to get on the phone. They don’t answer the phone at all during business hours. Calling their number only once was the phone was actually picked up and that was voicemail. The only communication we had was via the VRBO app, and typically with a 4-6 hour delay.You can’t predict broken AC. They could have provided a stand alone AC unit. Had they brought one, we would have been impressed with the service. Instead, we had to pester management on the app, and got no updates on the AC unless we pressed. Another option is to offer a cost offset for the inconvenience. We asked for that as well, and have been ignored. The AC was finally repaired on day five of the seven day stay.If we had gotten this house without the issues, or with reasonable service, it would have been a great value. We would not recommend a home from this management company. For the owners of the property, this is rather unfortunate. It really is a very nice house. But the stay was marred by the poor service and response of the management.
