Loved the property and the condo with 2 floors.Fully stocked. Just wished I knew there were 4 beach towels. Just steps to the ocean, many good restaurants, local grocery, and a wonderful patisserie for croissant's each morning. See you next year:)

2 bedroom duplex apartment

Overall, this is a beautiful apartment, in great location and great view of the ocean. However, we had an issue with air conditioning. The AC didn't work. When we notified the property manager on the day of our arrival, he said he will try to send somebody. When nobody showed up for couple of days, I reached out again to the property manager and his reply was that a part is needed and hopefully AC will be fixed the following day. Nothing was done till the end of our stay, and nothing was communicated to us. The apartment has 3 AC units: one on the main floor and two in each bedroom on the second floor. None of these AC units worked. They were just blowing air, not cooling. It looks like this issue with all AC units wasn't new as fans were placed in each bedroom.

Wonderful Vacation Apartment

Very nice modern apartment. Everything (bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms) seemed very new and in good condition. Excellent location--steps across to the beach with many beach restaurants and services (umbrellas, lounges). Just a short block to the village restaurants grouped together and the shops including a nice smaller grocery called The Casino. Beautiful view from the living room of garden pool area and slightly to the right, the ocean. A short drive to the Pinel Island Ferry, a large supermarket on the road to Grand Case and also the restaurants in Grand Case. Our representative, Mustafa, was great! Because of a large traffic jam on the island we arrived for check in almost 2 hours late, after dark and after hours but he graciously met us for our entry.The bedrooms upstairs have no closet or place to hand clothes, although there is a cloak closet downstairs near the living room. Also, almost no lights in the living room-it was too dark to read or see much of anything at night. Otherwise a wonderful stay!

Great location!

Great location! Easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. Great communication with host, easy check in and check out. Very clean. Great balcony with view of pool and beach.

Tarnished Experience

Location and apartment were very nice and we understand that an island experience may have shortcomings with water and electricity but it took three days and two requests to our apartment point of contacts to explain the issue with the apartment’s water supply. If our host would have been upfront as to the problem and VRBO/owners were doing all they can to correct the situation it would have helped to ease our expectations. Perhaps a bottle or two of fresh water to wash our face or brush our teeth would have been a nice jester.

ORIENT BEACH AT ALAMANDA

We always stay in Orient Village and last year noticed the renovation of Alamanda resort behind La Favala restaurant in the village. We booked through VRBO a 2 bedroom that was on the 2nd floor. With both bedrooms above with one full bath up and one full bath down stairs with a perfect size kitchen and living area with a balcony that would easily fit 4. Everything was new as expected and smelled fresh. The bedroom roof lines made them a tight fit. If you weren't careful when you raised up you would knock your head. By the end of the trip I felt like the Liberty Bell! We had friends that came in earlier and rented a studio on the ground floor. It was great with plenty of room for two and plenty of ceiling!
