I have two suggestions. 1) I understand that the property is large and requires cleaning but a 5:00 PM check-in is too late in my opinion. 2) I booked through VRBO and agreed to the payment dates there. After my reservation was made through VRBO, the property management's external booking system kicked in. I received an email stating that the 2nd payment was required (two weeks earlier than VRBO) and if I didn't make it in time my reservation could be cancelled.
