Unit features: • Access to the balcony from the living area and primary bedroom • Tile flooring in living areas; luxury vinyl plank in bedrooms • Fully equipped kitchen with dining table for six and two bar stools • Full-size washer and dryer inside the unit • Living area has a sofa sleeper • Primary bedroom with king-size bed • Second bedroom has two twin-over-full bunk beds (Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk) • Keyless entry for no-wait check-in and check-out • Boat launch and fish cleaning station on-site; boat slips available to rent ($25–$60/day), trailer parking $5/night (first-come, first-served) • Maximum of two cars allowed. Parking passes are $55 each + tax, limited to 2 per unit. Very convenient to many attractions and good restaurants. The overall complex is nice. The people we met that work at Phoenix on the Bay were very nice. Communication with the property manager was good. The unit we rented was ok, but nothing special and the pictures in the listing make it look much nicer than reality. The first day we kept finding small shards of glass in the main living area. Took us three days of mopping and vacuuming before we were convinced we had it all. We did mention this to the property manager and they offered to have someone come and clean it up but we felt we could deal with it. The rest of the condo was reasonably clean, but we kept finding little stuff that probably should have been cleaned before it was rented. Nothing terrible, just not what we are used to at other places. The closets and storage were the hardest thing to adapt to. The master closet was set up kind of odd and made hanging shirts and jackets a bit tough. Again, not a deal breaker, just odd. We might go back to Phoenix on the Bay, but would definitely not rent this unit again. Might just be us, but compared to all other places we have stayed this one (or this particular unit) just didn’t really align with our expectations.
