Construction & Maintenance Notices: Elevator Modernization: • Southwest (SW) Elevator: Out of service beginning Thursday, January 22, with an anticipated completion date of Tuesday, March 17 • Southeast (SE) Elevator: Work anticipated to begin Wednesday, March 18, with an estimated completion of Monday, May 11 Common Walkway & Balcony Work: Work on the common walkways is scheduled to begin December 1, 2025, and continue through the duration of the project, expected to conclude by the end of March 2026. Starting February 24th- March 6th, the swing stages will be used where possible to allow work on two stacks simultaneously. Balcony work will occur in two steps: Primer application to balcony handrails (approx. 2 hours + 2-hour tack dry) and paint (approx. 2 hours + 2-hour dry). “Wet Paint” signs will be posted. Garage Ramp and Closure Schedule Update: • The West Ramp and associated garage areas will be closed from January 26 through February 15 to complete the required work. • The East Ramp and associated garage areas will be closed beginning February 15 and extending through Spring Break. Final completion of the East Ramp is anticipated between Spring Break and the start of the summer season. \*\* Dates for all are subject to change. \*\* Phoenix on the Bay 1-1114 is a two-bedroom, two-bath condo located on the first floor with beautiful views of the lazy river and full amenities. Unit features: • Access to the balcony from the living area and primary bedroom • Tile flooring in living areas; luxury vinyl plank in bedrooms • Fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need from your home away from home. The dining table seats six, and there are two barstools for additional seating. • Full-size washer and dryer inside the unit • Living area has a sofa sleeper • Primary bedroom has a king-size bed • Second bedroom features two twin-over-full bunk beds (Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk) • Keyless entry for no-wait check-in and check-out • Boat launch and fish cleaning station on-site; boat slips available to rent ($25–$60/day), trailer parking $5/night (first-come, first-served) • Maximum of two cars allowed. Parking passes are $55 each + tax, limited to 2 per unit. Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) The first day we kept finding small shards of glass in the main living area. Took us three days of mopping and vacuuming before we were convinced we had it all. We did mention this to the property manager and they offered to have someone come and clean it up but we felt we could deal with it. The rest of the condo was reasonably clean, but we kept finding little stuff that probably should have been cleaned before it was rented. Nothing terrible, just not what we are used to at other places. The closets and storage were the hardest thing to adapt to. The master closet was set up kind of odd and made hanging shirts and jackets a bit tough. Again, not a deal breaker, just odd. We might go back to Phoenix on the Bay, but would definitely not rent this unit again. Might just be us, but compared to all other places we have stayed this one (or this particular unit) just didn’t really align with our expectations. Place was extremely clean and very well furnished... Furniture was really comfortable couches beds etc... The view over looking the amazing pool area was very nice... Attendants were really nice... This is a great place, and I would recommend to this facility to everyone... The only issue we had was there was no Alexa in the unit to help with Wifi code and the refrigerator in the unit was getting cold... Things needed to stay in there for at least a full day to really get cold... Other than those 2 things, really one Alexa wasn't a big deal...
