On our small-scale farm you’ll enjoy nature, peace, hospitality and lots of animals. Wake up in the middle of nature under 4-season sheep’s wool duvets — with no Wi-Fi or electricity, but with a wood stove, running water and everything you need. Go off-grid and spend the best time together. End the day with muddy shoes, fresh air in your lungs and a bed you can dive straight into. In the cabins you move along with the rhythm of the farm. The kids? Outside all day. By the time they’re in their cosy bed nooks with rosy cheeks, you’re watching the sunset or sitting by the wood fire. In the cabin you’ll find everything you need for a relaxed holiday in nature. There’s no Wi-Fi or electricity — and you’ll get used to that faster than you think. Slowing down and going with the easy pace of outdoor life is something our guests experience as special time and again. The cabins are fully equipped for up to 6 people: 2 adults and 4 children up to 12 years. You sleep in a double bed with 4-season sheep’s wool duvets. For the children there are cosy bed nooks; two of them can be converted into a cot. You’ll also find in the cabin: A living area with a sofa and wood stove (for heating and cooking) A fully equipped kitchen with running hot water, dishes, pans and kitchen utensils A bathroom with shower (hot water via a heat pump boiler) and toilet Made-up beds, bath towels, hand towel, tea towel and dishcloth A wooden cooler box (swap the freezer packs in the shop) Candles, oil lamps and tea lights for evening light A private terrace with picnic table and two wooden loungers A campfire spot next to your cabin And: a wood-fired hot tub on your terrace for private use On the farm you’ll find 4 cabins, 4 tent houses and 2 farmhouse family rooms. Some accommodations have a hot tub on the terrace. 🍃 Looking for a bit less adventure? Take a look at our farmhouse family rooms — with heating and electricity, but still offline (no Wi-Fi and no TV). With a bit of luck you’ll spot bats and owls at dusk. Enjoy the sunsets or toast marshmallows at the campfire spot. The grounds are ideal for children, with a trampoline, play equipment and plenty of space to ride around on pedal go-karts. There’s also a swimming pool, a sandbox with a water pump, swings and a slide. In the farm shop you can order freshly baked bread or a meal for the next day. You’ll also find local products and meat from our own farm — perfect for the barbecue. We have cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens and guinea pigs. They all need feeding — want to help? Want to learn more about farm life? Join the Boerderijtoer! Every Tuesday and Saturday we take the vintage Ferguson tractor and farm wagon to the neighbouring dairy farm to see the 200 cows and calves. On Wednesday and Saturday it’s pizza night (paid activity). We fire up the wood-fired oven. You roll out your own pizza, top it with fresh ingredients, and we bake it for you. Evening sun, a cold lemonade, and you’ll taste what wood-fired pizza is like out in the countryside. Every week there’s plenty to do: Feeding the animals with farmer Peter (twice a day) Boerderijtoer tractor tour (Tuesday & Saturday at 10:15) Wood-fired pizza night (Wednesday & Saturday at 18:00, paid activity) Roasting marshmallows at the campfire Collecting eggs in the yard Fresh products in the farm shop (bread, meat, local products) Extras to order: e.g. breakfast basket, farmhouse cheese fondue or grilled chicken There’s also plenty to do around Landhoeve! Walking trails start close to the farm, and you can fish in the Gelderse Gracht. Visit the drifting sand area in ’t Harde or go cycling on the Wezepsche Heide, where you may see Scottish Highland cattle, wild boar, red deer, roe deer, foxes and badgers. For a refreshing swim you won’t have to go far either — for example to Veluwemeer or Heerderstrand. Explore the old fortified town of Elburg, the Hanseatic city of Kampen, or the Bakkerijmuseum in the picturesque town of Hattem. Other fun trips: Walibi Biddinghuizen, Dinoland Zwolle, or the barefoot path at the A.Vogel gardens. In the cabin you’ll find: Made-up beds Towels and kitchen linen Dish soap, hand soap and toilet paper In the farm shop you’ll find (free): Coffee and tea ☕ Firelighters and candles High chairs (feel free to grab one on arrival) Games to play Books and magazines to borrow Colouring pages and coloured pencils Also: Firewood is ready for you at the wood area The hot tub is clean and filled — you light the fire yourself Quiet hours on the property: from 22:00 to 07:00 it’s quiet Dogs are welcome (always on a leash) Arrival Check-in from 16:00. Departure Check-out before 10:00. On Sundays you can usually stay until 13:00.
