It was closing the day after we went. The entire place was gross and in disrepair. They didn't even provide their advertised complimentary breakfast. Awful

We had stayed there several years ago and it was fine. Now it is a DUMP! We had reservations for 5 nights, but left after the 1st night and went to the Marriott Residence Inn. Turned out the Residence Inn was very nice and Cheaper. Don't even think about staying at the Regency Lodge. An Omaha resident told me that the property has been sold and probably will be redeveloped. Too many decent places to stay in Omaha to even consider staying at this place!

Looks like it used to be a nice hotel but no one takes care of it anymore. There was wall paper coming off the wall. The room was kind of dirty. The tv was one of those old giant TVs from the 90s.

This lodge was advertised as quaint. Quaint in this case means old and refurbished. Wallpaper coming off the wall in the hall. The first room they gave me had the window curtain half off the wall. The parking lot is a disaster with chunks out of the concrete and an accident just waiting to happen by an unsteady walker. The air conditioning worked great and the bed was so-so. This probably used to be a Holiday Inn or a Ramada Inn and it was purchased to get as much use out of it as possible. I would not stay here again.

Worst Hotel experience ever

I am a weekly traveler and tried this hotel only because it is in a good part of town. Hotel was completely filthy. Bed sheets where not changed. Hair and stains. Carpet completely dirty. Smell was bad. Asked for 2nd room. Same result. Beds were not changed and window was actually open with no screen. My daughter was traveling with me which made it all the worse. This hotel should be taken off your list. The front desk had ZERO concern regarding my concerns.

Hotel is a bit older but is clean and offered good rates. The pool was clean and in good condition. The lobby was very comfortable and inviting

Inexpensive stay with a nice pool, somewhat warm sauna, and OK complimentary breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of pillows, beds were fairly comfortable, room was dark and quiet. Rooms were dirty--blood or salsa on the bed sham? Leaking faucet under bar sink. Gross bathtubs--moldy caulk, mildew. Floors felt dirty--giant stains all over the carpeting of hotel. Towels are rough and scratchy, old. If you are wanting to save money and aren't picky, stay here.

When I went to check-in, they said I had no reservation - even though I showed them a copy of my Expedia confirmation. Also, A/C unit was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep!

Apparently, this hotel is closing. It has great potential! The staff we encountered were very negative. Couldn’t find us extra towels. We had to be moved from one room since the refrigerator didn’t work. The second room, the toilet wouldn’t flush. Not happy about the money I spent!!

Ease of check in. Television did not work. On CD alarm clock the top to play CD’s was missing. Bathroom sink faucet had a fast leak. When told front desk clerk on checkout she did not seem to care.

Don't stay here...

It has a beautiful outside look to it, that's where it ends. Everything is run down, it is getting torn down at the end of June so no one cares about working. Dirty sheets, towels not replaced,the refrigerator in the room wouldn't close properly because of all the frost buildup around the freezer, about 3 inches thick. The worst was that no one was at the front desk for hours, we finally gave up at 9:30pm and still no one was there, the only one working Saturday night was the bartender, and he was running all over trying to find us towels, he actually put some in the dryer for us, he had to help other guests problems also, while trying to bar-tend. No locks on the outside doors, so it was open to the public at all hours. I heard many complaints from other guest about dirty sheets, pool not maintained. no towels in the pool area, two rooms where not even touched by housekeeping all day. When we checked out in the morning the front desk girl knew nothing, and was obvious to anything problems. The manager wasn't around and the front desk girl would not give us a contact phone number for him or a name. just said that when we call she would transfer our call to his office and we can leave a message. This place is NOT RECOMMENDED. it is too bad because the front and the lobby are really pretty.

The rooms are very dated wallpaper coming off the wall, water stains on the ceiling and walls, sheets with holes in them, carpet that needs replaced. Looks like at one time this was a very nice hotel but needs to be renovated and new bedding.
