Four walking blocks to the Capitol and a few blocks more to Olympia's downtown experience. The home spans over 1600sf and the interior is well thought out for relaxation upstairs and hanging out downstairs. The covered patio has both seating with fireplace as well as another full dining table and chairs. Enjoy complete privacy in the fully fenced backyard. The home is nestled into the historical part of downtown Olympia and walking distance to the Capitol Campus, Capital Lake and Olympia's waterfront downtown. You can walk to Wagner's Bakery, coffee shops, restaurants, bookstores, vintage music stores, theater, waterfront dining, and antique shops. The home is accessed by sidewalks and a block from the Woodland Trail which accesses literally miles of paved trails from Olympia to as south as Chehalis. I rented the house as a chaperone for seven teen legislative pages who spent the week working at the Capitol. They had a wonderful time, and the house was always nice to come home to in the evening. The basement was a perfect hangout for a group of young people, and we all enjoyed the cozy living room in the evenings.The only thing I had any trouble with at all was fitting my large vehicle in the narrow parking space. I got two parking tickets the first day for having the back end hanging over the driveway.
