My husband and I wanted to get away for some relaxation with our daughters, ages 12 and 10\. This property was exactly what we needed! It was clean and comfortable, we slept in every morning and relaxed by the fire every night! The location was great, being close enough to Asheville and the Biltmore to spend the day but far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It was just the two of us, so we really didn't even go into two of the three bedrooms. The back decks were wonderful and we loved the creek, and the little waterfalls that we could hear and see from the house. We really wanted to start a fire in the firepit by the creek but we were so tired from hiking every day that we never got around to it. We ventured all over the place and there were lots to see. We focused on hiking waterfalls and there were plenty around. One day was kinda rainy so we drove over to Boone. Great side trip. Loved our stay. ##### Sharon C. I took five teenagers to this home and they loved every minute of it. Swimming, hiking, playing board games. However, getting to any local attractions, you have to deal with long, narrow winding roads. Needless to say, it took about an hour to get to any of the well known trails and Asheville itself.
