L'étude est une cabine nouvellement construite sur le quatrième lac dans les Adirondacks à Palmer Point. La cabine peut accueillir 5 et comprend un loft de sommeil et une chambre à coucher, terrasse privée spacieuse, laveuse / sécheuse et lave-vaisselle.

    La cabine est idéalement située pour toutes les attractions d'hiver que les Adirondacks ont à offrir, juste à côté de la route 28 qui mène à tous les sentiers de motoneige Old Forge. Il y a beaucoup de zone pour faire de la raquette ou du ski de fond et c'est juste une courte distance en voiture des restaurants et des villes de Inlet et Old Forge. Unkempt Surroundings

Renting this property was very easy. I’m still not sure who owns The Study, whether it be Rocky Point? Palmer’s Point, or a private owner. The cabin itself was fine for 3 people but too small for zany more than that. Plus, the surrounding cabins and grounds appear to be littered and/or in need of repair.

The Study

The cottage was cosy however, the grounds were in need of maintenance. When we had operational issues with the heater and TV, we were unable to contact anyone, although I left voice messages. On Saturday I stopped at the Rocky Point Properties Office which manages Palmer Point. After I left a written message since although the door was open, there was no one there, and spoke to a person who was delivering firewood who sent Scott, the property manager, a text message to call me, that I finally got a text from Scott. He was very kind, gave me some info on how to operate the heat and TV and when that didn't help, sent his father to help. His dad was also very kind, showed me how things worked, brought fresh batteries, and even helped my son, who is autistic, put a model car together! A critique would be that the deposit charged in case of damages takes 2 weeks to be refunded and when it is the money isn't refunded to the card used but a check is sent in the mail.

Charming

This is a nicely updated and charming cottage with a very comfortable queen bed upstairs. We did not utilize the bunk room on the first floor. A short walk down a shared driveway leads to a fire pit for renters of cottages on the property, as well as a small beach with dock. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and star gazing to the sound of loons! A very convenient location between Old Forge and Inlet.

LOVED IT! Really cool, clean, cozy cabin. Perfect location.

Overall experience was excellent. Loved the cabin, the beach area, the dock, and the location between Old Forge and Inlet.
