The neighborhood has undergone a renaissance in recent years in part as a result of the expansion of the Oklahoma Medical Center complex, anchored by the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, on its south side. You need to check out George's Happy Hog BBQ on Culbertson Drive. From the property, it's only a 5 minute drive to bustling Broadway Ave for Oklahoma Contemporary Art Center, great restaurants & bars such as Hatch Early Mood Food, Broadway 10, Coffee Slingers, Nic's burgers... Love art? You have to come by Factory Obscura ( 5 mins away) where local artists create cooperative temporary, immersive installations with avant-garde themes. Location was great for needing to be close to medical centres. The renovations were very nice and it was very clean. Bedrooms are roomy and nicely decorated.
