The environment of the hotel is so relaxing and the meals are so great! Moreover, the room is spacious and we love that we have a private onsen in the room. The staff are very friendly and are fluent in english. Always so courteous and accommodating. The place is very well maintain and doesn't look old at all. The breakfast and dinner are both so good. The indoor and outdoor hot springs in the guest rooms are clean and provide a great view of downtown Yufuin and Mt. Yufu. The hotel offer superb Japanese hospitality, the meals are delicious. Service are polite and excellent ! It is a very traditional Ryokan with an in-room onsen bath. The hotel does not offer a communal onsen bath. Our room faces mount Yufuin and the view is very nice. Hotel does not have a shuttle service, however, it will pay the taxi driver when you hail a taxi to go to the hotel, on check out, hotel will get a taxi to get you back to the rail station .
